It creates a clipping mask below layer

if i watched the video right, did you really just made a new layer, blurred the image, turned it black and white, and saved a copy of it just for nothing!? I didn't understand the point of that part

turn the video speed in to .75 or .50 which is suits you better...and do it ..enjoy..

EUREKA ....:D... Pause the video as and when you want. there are many long and slow videos out there but i dont think the material is any different. all the best.
