Only from you I'm learning lot of tips like shortcuts and they are very powerful in making edits.

I have a question. It may be a draft one but just started using photoshop cs6. Once I’ve finished creating a logo how do I change the text. Would I have to create new layer add text then copy effects. Or is another way? Any advice or help would be great. Thanks in advance

After you type your text, click the icon at the upper, right corner of the Layers panel to open the fly-out list and click "Convert to Smart Object".

You are great sir,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but I having some problems . if I need to use vanishing point option for book mock up, then how can I round the corner of the spine. pleas help me out.

Unfortunately, Vanishing Point doesn't work for rounded corners.

I learned more about photo editing through Marty than all the years in Graphic Design school

Sometimes, you have to drag your cursor toward the center after you press Ctrl + V.

For this particular tutorial, there aren't any project files, since the cubed effect is created from scratch.

Go back to Vanishing Point and click the "Edit Plane Tool". Go to a corner of the text and when you see a diagonal, double-arrow, drag it in or out to resize it.

Press V for the "Edit plane tool" click on the plane then press delete (backspace)

Go to FIle > Save As. At the bottom of the window, next to "Save as type", scroll down and click PNG.

I've tried this twice now and the color overlay doesn't happen. Then when I create new layer under background layer, the whole thing goes black.

It could be that the Text folder's blend mode isn't "Normal".
