The kind of stuff we come across as adventure photographers is kind of mind blowing. The views and places we get to see is unreal. This particular shoot, a storm pulls in. This is my "diary" as a hide out.
Well done to every runner that completed it. What i experienced was a little taste of what they had up on top.

Marshalled at this event at Skiddaw. And when the thunder came and the rain it was quite a scary sight. Seeing the lightning strike next to you is quite frightening hehe

Francois Jordaan Very true Francois! Did we hike back together in the evening? Anyway, that lightning came too close for comfort! Thanks for the hard work!

Bruce Viaene yes we did hehe. Met you guys at Skiddaw I think but then we caught a lift with the guys that was supposed to pick up that other lady. One experience I will never forget. Even through our tent the hail hit us hard hehe
I was one of those runners stuck at the top of that mountain in that hail storm - it was TERRIFYING (to put it mildly!!)!!

Katherine Thorneycroft - Well done! I can not imagine what the top must of felt like, but i am super impressed. Well done on finishing.. I am sure now you feel like you can conqueror anything!
