Hi Mark, thank you for the great video. I'm a Android user and searching for a while for a clear instruction how to use critical notification on Android 11. Could you do a video about this or do you perhaps know someone who did? Thank you.

I've been binge-watching your videos! Amazing job mate! Question: what if I want to play custom notifications on a Homepod mini, not my iPhone? For example, a "welcome home" message when my phone latches to WiFi network and I unlock the smart lock?

Thanks Mate appreciate it. I'm not 100% sure with the Homepod mini as it's just one bit of Tech I am yet to have a play with. Are they targetable as media players? I think you might be able to make use of something like the AirSonos Addon which will let you talk to AirPlay devices. You could then use the Native HA Cloud TTS service (Which I personally think is the best most natural sounding TTS).

Hi Mark, verry good video. I like to watch your videos since it simple and easy to understand. Is this possible with android aswell? Can you make a video about this or is there any tutorial you know of? I couldnt find any information on the website of HA.

Check out my Alexa Custom MP3s video :) it might be what your after. You can create your own audio for Alexa to use in automations etc. I also have an Alexa TTS video so you can get Alexa to say things. I do Plan on covering Alexa Actionable Notifications :)

@@MarkWattTech Thanks for your answer Mark. What I mean to say is that Alexa says somethings that I wrote, there's any way to capture they voice on a mp3/wav file so I can put on a companion app notifications :D

@@blopak2 as in to record Alexas voice and use that audio on the companion? If thats what you mean, I would just use the Alexa TTS on your PC, record that snippet on your PC and use that file :)

Great video! However, I tried it on Android and is not working. :( I googled the issue and ask Bard, apparently there is no such thing for Android nor is planned one. Also there are no critical notifications as yet.
