@@purcellrcaviationchannel The serenity we get from the gliders is Zen on wings. I absolutely love the Easyglider from Multiplex. I've converted it into a monster of power and it sails with the best. All the best to you wonderful folks.

I like how you are able to go out and enjoy some good flying weather when it happens! That was fun watching your smooth flight of the Phoenix. Seems like you squeezed about all the fun out of that battery. : - )

So glad to see you having fun, I've got the 2000 but its not warm enough or calm enough where i am on the east coast Suffolk UK, nice flight by the way makes me want to get out there!!

Totally relaxing flying is guaranteed with most motor gliders, Cap'n.

Nice start to the year! And that timer is not a bad idea. What I used when I started flying with a lousy RTF radio was use a lipo buzzer. But I think I got bored everytime before it began to buzz 😂

Been wanting to get my Phoenix 2400 out, but the weather says no. Thanks for the fly along! I have mine trimmed out for maximum power off glide ratio. Get it up high, and float around till it's time to power back up again.

I'm running a BuddyRC 4s Li-Ion in my 2400 with a max current of 30A. It will scoot if I feel like goofing around, but will also last 30+ minutes of relaxed flying.

Way to go guys, glad you're able to get out, Happy New Year! Looks like we're gonna have bad weather for awhile!😂

Hi Chris! HNY!! Yes, the damage was fixed in five minutes flat... and it was that landing wot dun fer it, not the Apache heli, of course 😄

Phoenix;s are a favorite of mine too. Grab yourself a Multiplex Lentus... It's expensive but oh my god what a beauty. Huge plane like the XL but it's slippery in the air. It goes whoooooshhh as it flies past you. You'd love it Gina.

Hi Lauren! The Lentus looks beautiful... as does the price 😲🤔😄😄😄 If we lived somewhere that had slopes, I think I would be very tempted by a model like that. If I ever do get to a slope, I'll take my ST Arcus M with me, which has now had its motor and folding mechanism removed; the Arcus is effectively a 2/3rds scale Lentus and videos I've seen of Arcus M models shows they slope quite well.

Wow you have better weather than I have it's been nothing but hard rain and strong winds since Christmas day....Happy new year, nice short flight lol.. 😅😅 easy relaxing flying with a power glider , as you infer, what's not to like....❤❤

Hi Martyn! We seem to get one day's respite in between the endless storms over here, so I grab the chance with both hands. I like to think Brian smiled down on me and enjoyed the flight, too 😇😊

I am totally confused:- I have bought the Phoenix 742-7 and see there are items that the kit does not include however I cannot find what items are missing or a list of items recommended . I would appreciate somebody telling me the full details of these items so that I can receive them for when the aeroplane arrive; It is impossible to contact anybody to find out.
