Fabulous approach and landing. Well done 🎉
Beautiful plane and flight, Jon. That approach and landing were perfection.
Great flight and perfect landing. Can't get better than that.
Sweet landing
Hey buddy, mine is built and waiting for its maiden. I am also using a 160 motor and the very same 5 blade system, what sort of pitch are you using?
Did you use the Vario spinner. It says diameter is 104. My cowl is 95mm
Very good flying and video production 👍I have one of these but have not started assembly yet. I was wondering about motor setup, but now I might as well do the same as you. Thanks. Have you tested slow flight handling, stalls and spin? (at a safe altitude of course) Thanks for shearing the video.
I like! What prop are you using?

not to be nosy, but you like the e-flite 160, and where did you buy the prop. @@Air-Jon

great looking plane, I just bought one.
My plane is finished and ready to fly. I notice the specs on the Eflite power 160 indicates 10s. Have you done okay using the 12s set up?

no problems on 12S, but i made a pretty sophisticated forced air cooling setup for the motor, and I'm running a 14.4 inch prop, to reduce the load. It's really the overall wattage you have to keep track of. you could easily over amp the motor on 10s..or even 8s. I think I'm consuming. I'm hitting about 4kw peak, but that drops off quickly. A 650g motor should handle 4KW no problem with good cooling. Of course the MFGs often put conservative specs for the motors. I come from an EDF background where we are always operating @ KW way beyond MFG spec... Cooling and load is the key. U know u can't believe what everyone says.....I heard this wouldn't fly good on a power 160. But u got urs dialed in....I have same motor don't have esc yet but that's what I wa gonna go with....what size prop....3 blade or 2 or 4? Beautiful flight and video
