Mitchell couldn't catch a cold. Not only can't she pass the ball to a teammate, but she can't catch a pass either. How useless is the coach to keep playing a liability to the team in 90% of their games. If Mitchell was a better team player, she would pass the ball to an open player, or a better coach would have her sitting on the bench most of the game.

Everybody talks about CC 3 points from downtown but I think that just a party trick. Where she shine the most is the ability to see and get the ball to her open teammates, draw double team and toss out and a fast break with CC is exiting to watch. She creates more quality shots for her teammates. I agree with another comment about running out of steam on the 4th. Everybody just stand around. The Fever needs to do what coach Mike D’antoni did for the Phoenix Sun, he got them run at a crazy fast pace and results in open looks. ROTY is a no a brainer.

The agility and catching ability of her teammates needed to be upgraded...

Caitlin rookie of the year!! That girl can play ball. So fun to watch.

Man if CC had a teammate that could catch a pass or maybe score when they do manage to hold onto the BALL her stats would represent her play. she has to do EVERYTHING twice to get a stat.

CC is the rookie of the year and it ain’t even close. Anything less is just an embarrassment to women’s basketball. She is all around so much better better than Angel Reese. It’s just laughable really

Clark is 1 rebound and coach pulling her out from 2 right now with Phoenix banged up Clark just needs the 10 boards the points and assist will be easier her team will have higher percentage of makes tonight.

Next year, the Fever need to revamp the team roster and get rid of Wheeler, Hull and Samuelson. Samuelson is almost invisible, Wheeler has the ability to foul herself on a drive and Hull cannot finish a drive to the hoop or drop a 3-Pointer to save her life. Time to pull a trade before the deadline and secure another pure shooter and someone who knows what defense is.

Damn! The Fever stopped playing and being agressive in the 4th quarter, they were just waiting for the time to run out, that was why the Mercury was able to come back. It was a good thing the Fever went back to being agressive and was able to pull away again. The Fever have this habit of stopping what they're doing being agressive in the 4th quarter so some teams were able to come back and win.

@@joshschang4993 there was no garbage time, the mercury brought the lead down to 3 or 4 points (I think) and there was still enough playing time. garbage time doesn't mean it is the last minutes, it means the lead is so insurmountable that nothing can't be done by the losing team to catch up.

Again, had a 26 point lead and almost blew it because of poor shooting decisions and rebounding.

I can see why Brittany Griner thought she could take DeMarcus Cousins 1v1. She absolutely dominated this game for the Mercury!

Although the Fever won this game, it was a terrible win. Phoenix was without key starters and the Fever was essentially playing against their bench. How does a team blow a 30 point lead and how does a coach allow a 19 to 4 point run without making adjustments. The Fever have some serious decisions to make in the off season. It was a painful game to watch. Perhaps it's just me but the mental aspects of the game seems to get completely lost in too many stretches of the game. In my opinion, this is when it gets sloppy and difficult to watch. Perhaps it's a scheduling issue in terms of the volume of games played without rest or practice. I can see fatigue being an issue. However, this doesn't excuse shot selections like Samuelson and Hull launching 3's when their percentages don't justify those shots. I would like to see them go to bucket off the pick and roll or take higher percentage mid range shots. They are not knock down 3 point shooters. I place this at the feet of the coaching staff. Kelcey Mitchell is definitely a talent that doesn't seem to know how to play with this group or have a designated role.She's a scorer but doesn't pass the ball. Alihah Boston is playing better but I think she needs to spend more time in the off season working on her game and less time trying to be a basketball analyst, although she does a good job at it. I think the Fever as a whole aren't mentally tough and only seem to get motivated when shots are falling. I think this translates into their extremely poor defense when shots aren't falling. Hopefully the league as a whole can do better in terms of scheduling these games. It's great for new viewers like myself but you can see how easily fatigue and lack of practice can effect the quality of the game. However, I do enjoy the games and definitely watch them now days.

Caitlin would have 4-5 more assists per game if her team mates would catch the ball and make easy shots. Boston, Mitchell and Clark need more players. Caitlin needs to work on her offside help and quit standing around after a shot. Hull is not a good shooter. She needs to go home with Caitlin and put some work in.

Cc is even better than the NBA players .she passes better than magic Johnson n his rookie year.rookie of the year.not even close Angel who?

A player like Caitlin will almost certainly have a high turnover rate because she makes a lot of high risk for turnover type passes. Behind her back, trying to thread the needle with multiple players of the opposing team surrounding her teammates type passes can certainly create a high turnover for a player like Caitlin. Now, having said that, she could tone that down a bit and maybe just penetrate with the Ball instead. She should start being a little selfish, maybe that might work but no question, she's ROTY. The Fever are on pace to have a better record than last season where the Sky have a long way to go to do the same and that's with Reese and Carduoso being both drafted to the Sky so there is no debate.

Once again, Coach Sides puts Clark in the torture chamber with Erica Wheeler
