Paisley wouldn't thank you for calling him Irish, even though he was born on the island... Some folk are quite childish like that. Apart from that, throwing his toys out of the pram and shouting like a belligerent overgrown toddler whenever he doesn't get his way he's actually quite grown up. We're all very proud of him, a real poster boy for Britishness... Honest.

@Rantomon...Can people from Northern Ireland be called British ? The UK consists of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) and Northern Ireland, so I would have thought that people from Northern Ireland are not part of Great Britain, but part of the UK. Just asking.

@@Martin_Whiteside We are all British Islanders geographically The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland If you are Born in Britain you are British If you are born in the British Isles you are a British Islander Born in England you are English and British Born in Ireland you are Irish Born in Northern Ireland you are British (but can apply for Irish Citizenship) and Northern Irish
