They have a course in my area that's 3 days and it cost $495 with a $100 deposit. Can it be done cause I don't want to waste my time and money?

Hey Jocelyn, Most likely these classes will teach you how do draw blood, but will that enough to have a successful career as a phlebotomist? Unfortunately no! In order to thrive as a phlebotomist, you need a things like - Phlebotomy Certification, Accredited Training & Hand-on Clinical Experience. Having training for drawing blood vs having training for a successful career are two totally different things. From personal experience, I got certified from an in person vocational school here in my city. For 1025$ exactly obviously for the NHCO exam books and an unlimited supply of straights 5 butterflies etc. Not including the other miscellaneous expenses for gas and what not for the class only. First time ever drawing was a real person my classmate as I was for others. There was only four people in my class so we were poked a lot. No biggie for me had more than 60 sticks when I left. Passed my exam with an 88 in March I now work an evening shift in the biggest hospital in the city! 22.50 an hour babyyyyy

Externship opportunities must be looked into as well.
3 to 4 weeks? My sht took 5 months 😂 and cost 2k
