I'm REALLY starting to think that Phish should start seeking a female vocalist to sing backup/lead on some of the songs that have amazing lyrics and melodies. We all know it's rough (af) here as of late, especially when certain songs are played. With someone else singing it could free up Trey to concentrate on the songs he's been playing for 30+ years. He's been butchering (consistently) songs he's been playing for 30+ years and to just worry about his riffs and licks could make a huge impact. NOW...I'm not a huge fan of female vocalists. In fact...there's not one I really truly love...maybe Whitney, but I see a female fitting in better with the boys. None of them would feel threatened and if she played fiddle or something that would be way cool if done tastefully. Hell....even a backup rhythm guitar on the ballads to let Ernie burn the place down on the leads would work. i'm sure some of you will find this blasphemous...I almost kinda do myself. Bobby has John now...why cant Trey get a little help on the microphone check one two what is this?

Wow.. these guys are on fire
You can tell it's fucking on when Page kicks his chair out from under him.
Wow once the jam starts to develop and it starts picking up.... unreal! This was my fav from all of 2018. Great stuff from the mothership!

Pure joy
Just such a fantastic weekend guys. Really needed it
Beautiful!!! I’ve always wished they’d play some of those early 90’s “hey” jams where they play a small phrase and keep building off each other. Those were some of my favorite jams to see live. They would usually get real dark and melt your face off. However I can never complain about a good ole tension and release jam.

see you this friday!
omg i love this
ah yeah brahs
What an awesome weekend.
Nice! This was probably the best jam I’ve seen live. Right out of Simple they took a dark and spacey turn, I looked up and saw the blue lights pulsing on the ceiling, it was surreal and I actually felt like I was in ‘The Mothership’. Then that peak at the end was incredible. Thanks for uploading it!

Nice gatekeeping brah you're so hetty
Bobby has John now...why cant Trey get a little help on the microphone check one two what is this?
vocals are NOT their best thing
The singing is off-key! Yuck.
@Nightwishmaster
5 жыл бұрын
This absolutely insanely incredible jam and you're worried about the vocals? We don't go see Phish for singing, we go to have our faces melted off by 4 dudes that are absolute masters of the instruments they weild, and to experience moments of bliss and perfection as seen in this video!
@rickbaglioni4160
5 жыл бұрын
Being a professional musician entails to be able to sing. If their off-key singing doesn't bother you, listen to your heart's content; I won't. As far as their musicianship is concerned, endless noodling doesn't thrill me, either. PHISH is a snooze. r@@Nightwishmaster

@@rickbaglioni4160 Well yeah, I find debating and pointing out faulty logic to be enjoyable. Sometimes they sing out of tune, but again, that's NOT what keeps us coming back to shows again and again, it's the fact that they're each masters of their instruments, and some of the best musicians in the world. From their incredible composed sections to their blissful jams, they are a unique band unlike any other in the world.
