"why did it have to be one take" the answer is likely - they wanted a challenge. Coke studio in general has always tried to push talent to the forefront. It's not just a platform for music, but it's a platform for artists to be just that - artists. They're not trying to "Manufacture" a song, they're not trying to sell a watered down product. They're building something with passion, from the vocal talents, the writers, the sound designers, the set designers, the cameramen. This video honestly just showcases that - they went for the best minds and talents in the industry at all levels, and all of them expressed that they were looking forward to the challenge. It shows - this season was amazing.

Faisal Kapadia used to have a band with "Bilal Maqsood" by the name "Strings" for 32 years and the were the producers of Coke studio for 4 seasons. They concluded the band last years so thats why Faisal Kapadia is coming back to coke studio as solo singer.

STRINGS is that band, who imo have never made a bad song, such is their class. Top notch quality music for 3 straight decades. And the thing is Bilal Maqsood's (Fasial's mate) vocals are real special as well. If you want to check out some of Strings. You can try their last Album, THIRTY, all of its songs have English Subtitles on youtube. My favorites from the album: Urr Jaoon Zinda ...... As for Xulfi, try out the performance of his band, CALL THE BAND, "JILAWATAN- Pepsi Battle of the Bands". That is arguably one of the best live performances ever, period!

The recording the young stunners were making was for Faisal's kids and that was his wife.

Young stunners are pioneers of Urdu hiphop before them there was no such thing in Pakistan they've struggled for almost 10+ years and know they are tge ones who brought this genre of music to the mainstream media

Fun Fact: In June 2004, Strings were approached by the heads at Columbia TriStar Films of India, to include the song in the soundtrack of the Urdu version of the epic Hollywood blockbuster Spider-Man 2. So their song was the official soundtrack for Spider-man 2, its title is "Najane kion"

Young Stunners are pioneers of Rap here they actually introduced this genre to Pakistani industry no one ever heard such genre here from Pakistan, and I have been following them from burger e Karachi which goes way back to 2013 since then they haven’t looked back did performing live for pepsi co. And award shows doing promotional videos for Pepsi and Zelbury they are no doubt legends of rap here plus Faisal Kapadia damn that man don’t need any introduction he is a legend from my childhood to today. Man hands down to Faisal sir.

Great reaction as always. Your research was right. Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood was the part of the band called "Strings". It was one of the most famous bands in 2000s. Xulfi was part of the band "Call" and he wasn't the lead singer, the lead singer was Junaid Khan. This song really is a mix of emotions and vibe. And your reaction on that is like cherry on the cake. Stay blessed!

Xulfi was part of several bands over the years including "EP - Entity Paradigm" and "Call the Band"; both very good in their times and their songs are still amazing to listen to! He was a lead singer in many songs for these bands. Also sang many solo songs that made the news!
