the reason it worked so well is after the Patriots stole SB 39 from a historically great Phila team by filming their pre SB practices & the NFL covered it up - Pederson ran Fake practices SB week b/c he knew the Fraud Patriots can only win by cheating so when they called Philly special they knew NE was done

As a Pats fan, I just can't be mad about it. The game was amazing and those crucial plays, especially the philly special, were just a sight to behold

It was an all-time great game. As an Eagles fan, I wouldn't have wanted our first Super Bowl Championship to come against anyone other than the best opponent possible. That was the Pats, and obviously the best QB ever, Brady. The Patriots dynasty was absolutely awe-inspiring to watch. You guys set the bar to an insane standard. I say this with the utmost respect -- it was an honor to beat you guys on the biggest stage. Much love & respect from Philly.

These are the special moments that sports allow us. Since I was a young kid I’d watch every eagles game with my dad. Many amazing memories, the super bowl being the greatest one. He passed suddenly a year later on the first Sunday of the following football season. Will forever be grateful that I was able to watch that game with my dad.

As a eagles fan this was one of the best days of my life I remember hearing from my father who said he may not even see a Superbowl in his life time. This was beautiful

Surreal watching this 4 years later. I remember being a sophomore in high-school. The energy in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas was different than anything I’ve ever felt before. When they won I remember every school shutdown for the parade. Probably one of the coolest moments I’ve experienced.

He also had 4 huge receptions for 100 yards. He doesn’t make that huge 3rd down play before HT, no Philly Philly, and NE gets the ball back. He doesn’t secure that TD catch whilst 3x covered, we don’t hold them off. Easily the most unsung hero of SBLII.

Give the coaches credit for having them ready, and obviously Nick for the recommendation. Aside from Graham's strip sack, I've never been happier after any play in any sporting event (Ed Reed once had a pick 6 to end a game which won me a bet and a fantasy football game ... I'll always remember that one too).

I always loved how, when Foles approached Peterson at the sideline, Peterson went from total confidence in the play he wanted to go with, to having total confidence in what his quarterback wanted to do in the span of two seconds. The very definition of a coach trusting his player.

I'm not an Eagles fan, but the 2017 Eagles were something special. Such a blast to watch, and going back and hearing the audible for the Philly Special still gives chills 5 years later. Nick Foles and Doug Pederson got to prove themselves, bring home the trophy to a city that desperately needed it, ad gave us the best Super Bowl ever

I will forever remember this Super Bowl. I had 20 family members at my house we set off fireworks afterwards. One of the best nights ever. Fly Eagles Fly 🦅

As a Pats fan i'll never forget coach Belichick say after the super bowl loss. "I was outcoached" It was a great game!!

It's honestly crazy to look back at how stacked this Eagles team really was, and even without their starting QB, they made the adjustments and trusted in Foles to get it done and damn did he ever.

I love watchig videos talk about the phlly special, but i always get bummed when they leave out how the Patriots tried it earlier in the Game and couldn't convert.

Nick had been running that play since he was 8 years old in Pop Warner football in Westlake (West Austin area). During high school he was 5 for 5 with 5 touchdowns. And he was an All-Region point guard for 3 years on the basketball team so he had GREAT hands. That play had 95% chance of success.

This still makes me emotional. Love my EAGLES🦅

The cinematography on that play was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Had to rewatch a couple times with how dope it looked

Crazy story. Watched the super bowl with my dad and remember rooting for the eagles the whole way and watching that final play after it hit the ground, I was filled with so much joy. It’s wasn’t even an eagles fan but wanted a crazy upset. One of the greatest games I have ever watched.

I have been a Philly fan since 98. This video gives me chills and I hope we can do it again this year. We have a tall task ahead but I think we're genuinely one of the best teams in the league

Nick had been running that play since he was 8 years old in Pop Warner football in Westlake (West Austin area). During high school he was 5 for 5 with 5 touchdowns. And he was an All-Region point guard for 3 years on the basketball team so he had GREAT hands. That play had 95% chance of success.

This hard working Eagles roster and coaching staff is something every NFL fan should put respect on.

As a Jags fan I can only hope that coach Pederson brings some of that magic to Jacksonville. I think he's got us going in the right direction and I love what he did with the leadership council on the Eagles taking their suggestions and making them happen. I haven't heard whether he's done the same in Jacksonville or not, but I hope he does. Seems like a great way to get the team to work together.

Overall, I’d say you guys had a pretty good season. A playoff birth and wild card win no one expected. A few things that need to be tuned up, loss to the chiefs was hard, but considering Kansas is in the Super Bowl right now, I’d say Jacksonville has hope.

I was fortunate enough to be at the Elliot 61 yard game, the divisional round game, and NFCCG that year. What an amazing season that cements this team in history.

As a Giants fan, Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles and Their fans on their SB win. Also I feel you have the right coach, Pederson fits the Eagles culture.

Yes he did but Pederson had the final say. So although Foles suggested it Pederson called it.

H'es a damn good coach, proving it again in Jacksonville. Respect.

L. Blount was so amazing during this season, i know this film is about the philly special and nick foles is forever a legend in philly! but i need to mention the amazing running game we had with blount + ajayi + clement. blount in particular was amazing during the playoff run, and i believe he had 2 scores in the superbowl.

And the fact Blount won the previous year with New England, wanted to resign with them and they didn’t sign him. So he signs with us and got to put up 2TDs and win against the team that let you go has to be a great feeling 💯

I worked at a sports bar and every season my only rule, If the Eagles go to the superbowl, I WILL NOT COME IN. My managers told me that I am or I dont have a job. Im so glad I saw that whole game from start to finish at my house.

Thats revisionist history. Wentz had just come off of an MVP caliber season that ended in an injury. If we got another season or 2 of that Wentz there's a chance he's considered a top 5 qb imo. He was doing some amazing things that season

Doug really had that Louisiana accent going when he coached that High School team lol. You can't hear it at all now.

Hopefully one day my Raiders will win a Superbowl again. I know we suck and probably won't win one in 20 years or so but when we do Raider Nation is everywhere and it's probably the biggest is going to be crazy. But Philly deserves to be Super Bowl champions congratulations y'all💯

Doug Pederson was fired after the 2020 season because a Superbowl win and 2 seasons making it to the playoffs just isn't good enough for some people.
