Ward's lack of hustle is somehow very glaring against what Ron is trying to instil in this team. He doesn't chase down balls at the wall, doesn't sprint to to 1B, and jumps late for steals attempts. It might be just optics, but he looks really lazy out there.

i’ve noticed this last season too. Some catches can be made with more hustle from Ward or instead of staring at the ball after his swing he could run right out of the box.
