It was either the original 9000 or the 9000 prestige which was £100 more on Amazon But I decided to go with original 9000 as it was cheaper and not much different to be honest I paid £230 which is still a lot for a shaver! to be honest so will have to see if it’s worth it

Why clean it in the sink when it comes with it's own cleaning solution?

If it's battery is low, or it is completely spent, can it be run directly by plugging in the charger?

Yes, it can. I have one myself and have used it that way.

Wet/Dry shavers cannot be run directly off the plug. That would violate the water tight integrity of the shaver.
