    The glass is heated up only by the heat of the vessel on top. No issues if water spills.

    Can we use a heavy weight Cast Iron Dutch Ovens on this which weighs around 7-8 kgs?

    Hi, Manish. Thanks for sharing your question. 😊 We don't recommend using pots with a concave or convex bottom made of non-iron metal, heat-resistant glass, ceramic, glass, aluminum and copper, with a bottom diameter of less than 12 cm or more than 20 cm or if it weights more than 8 kg. A cast iron Dutch oven of between 7-8 kg would in this case be acceptable 😊 We hope this answers your question, if you have any more questions, feel free to message us at any time 🤗

    Hi there, thanks for reaching out. Good question! The preset button allows you to decide how much time you want the appliance to work at in specific modes. So for instance, if you want to steam for a specific amount of time, you could select steam and then 'preset' and change the cooking time. We hope this helps!

    First fix your after sales service Philips India. Your Services are worst in Hyderabad, such a big city. God knows what is the condition in rural areas. My induction complaint is still not solved from last 2 months and in October my warranty will lapse. Every time I talk to your customer service, they take 24 hrs time and next time they put my request on priority basis, which i don't know how is priority as i do not get any response. My ticket number is 1452389. Last time they even closed my ticket without even tell me anything and without fixing my under warranty induction cooktop. This has made me stay away from all Philips items forever.
