Thanks so much for replying to my comment. Now I'm pretty determined to get one of these. I've been using a very cheap coffee maker for several years that cost less than 200 crowns here in Sweden, and have been looking for something like this with a timer and built-in grinder for a long time. Electrolux makes such coffee makers, but they tend to get a lot of negative comments in reviews, so I have been reluctant to purchase one of those. I think the idea of having two chambers so you can have different roasts of coffee beans at the ready is brilliant! I haven't seen this in a coffee maker before. I've used two different coffee grinders in the past, a Bosch and a Krups, and they both make a mess on my kitchen counter every time I use them. A built-in grinder ought to mean that the freshly-ground coffee will go into the filter where it belongs and nowhere else.

+Brian Reedy Hallo, Im sure you will be happy With this coffe machine from Philips. Built in grinder is cool and beans be powder and go straight into filter. Its easy and good. And timer so you can Wake up to fresh coffe))) Yes Its a good machine this. Price is ok fore a machine like this. Its a quality machine. Im from Norway. You live in Sweeden? Thank you for taking the time to create a KZread review for this Philips coffee maker. There isn't much information available for us here in the USA to learn about this machine. I assume for the price, that it must have a water filtration system, auto shut off etc. It's a nice looking machine. Thanks again. Happy Holidays. Wade

G W Grote Hei and thanks fore Nice comenth. This Philips coffe machine is really awsome. I use It every day somtimes filter coffe and somtimes With beans. This is sollid 6,5 kilo. Turn off after 2 houers. Timer is very god so you can get fresh coffe in the morning. Like you say a Nice looking machine. This water tank is easy to use. Have water In and it will be a mark so you easy se how many coups. Then same coups on display when using beans. And can choose mild, medium and strong taste on coffe. Easy to use. Best coffe machine I had in my life and I be Into some of them. Happy Holidays to you to.

G W Grote 450 Dollar is mutch. I pay 170 US Dollar on sale. I use currency calculator now and therfore can se what is coust. You bouth a machine you dont like?. This Philips coust mutch but Its a very fine coffe maker. I use it fore 30 minute ago and today With filter coffe. I like that its timer and clock. I have a god weekend but I work. Last day work tomorrow before Cristmas and I have loong free.

Like today I use timer on 6,30 In morning. Up 6,35 fresh coffe before I drive to work 7,30. Its monday morning and last day fore me before cristmas. I have work weekend now like you know. I bouth New type of beans to my coffe machine. And today near everything is made in China. 85% of all Things come from there. Thanks fore many Nice comenth. Yesterday eavning it come mutch snow and not easy to drive home from work. Happy Cristmas)))))

+Brian Reedy Hei, this is a good coffe maker! It can be used With beans and filter. I like that. Clock and timer so you can Wake up to fresh coffe. Nice coffe machine whoo not coust to exstreamly mutch. Its not complicated at all. You will learn it quick))

hi, just a quick question, when I take out the can and pour my coffee, putting it back is a pain... Putting IN the can, is almost only possicle when I first pull open the filtertray, then the can in the machine and then close the filtertray. but after coffee making, this leads to dripping coffee on the hotplate..... Is there a trick/way to hold or put the can in, that makes it easier? thanks!!

How do i know when it does finish?, i set 3 cups it drained the whole water tank

finally a machine that has a more powerful grinder. I know somebody who has some other machine, and it's grinder sounds like it's struggling on teensy coffee beans, and that to my eyes is a total waste of electricity. If you own a machine that has a weaker motor than your hands... that's bullshit. I can grind coffee beans faster and quieter than her machine. In fact, I used to do it every morning, but now I drink instant cappuccino, that doesn't increase my blood pressure much.

Hi thanks for the comment. I do not have this machine today. Sold it after a while. Nothing wrong the machine is very good so I recommend this. I like to change things. Try again. Now I have a Mocamaster

when it grinding coffee is it does it give off a nice scent ?

Hei, den maskinen solgte jeg for lenge siden. Nå har jeg Moccamaster. Mulig jeg opplevde det et par ganger når du skriver om det. Men lenge siden jeg solgte den. Var egentlig en god maskin. Bråka mye men det gjør alle kverner.

Jeg har denne, kverna er et evig irritasjonsmoment. Man må stå og riste på maskinen mens den kverner, eller så klarer den ikke å ta inn bønner. Helt på trynet design. Vurderer å plukke den i småbiter og se om jeg kan forbedre den. Kanskje det hjelper å fjerne det helt meningsløse spjeldet som skal velge mellom venstre og høyre kammer. Terningkast null fra meg.

+Torben Hansen Den bråker når man bruker kvern. Alle kverner gjør det. jeg kjøpte en ny kaffe maskin til over 9000 kroner. Den også bråker når man lager kaffe. Den Philips var til ok pris ca 1500 kroner. Med klokke og timer. Lagde bra kaffe. Kan bruke filter også.!!

man i got mine yesterday .. they don't sell it here for some reason! so i hade to ship it from the UK .. the seller got it from germany .. damn it lol took so long and the cost was high with all that but all that work WORTH IT! amazing cup of coffee .. the small and taste is so fantastic like you said of curs i only drink strong coffee .. i have Lavaza and Kicking horse beans the only thing i wish this machine do is to take only the water that needed .. i have to put exactly what i need .. i cant fill it up and choose just 2 its all good tho .. i love this coffee machine here is a photo for ya : is.gd/sm69cG

I drink coffe now from this machine when I Write you. Filter coffe. I have beans to but now I use filter or powder coffe. Its timer to on this machine.
