Just curious as to why the 3M tape AND screws were used. I think the reason the 3M tape is included is if you have a vehicle where space is tight and you can't get a drill in the space, you can use the tape instead. I used to use the 3M Scotch outdoor 15 Lb double sided tape to install my fog lights on my cars and that stuff will hold your lights no problem. Held the fog lights on my car for 4 years until I sold it and never came off or came loose. Through car washes, rain, winter, etc. The tape held the lights. And if you decide to remove the tape you spray some WD-40 or Goo Gone on the tape and let it soak for a bit and then you can gently work the tape off with no damage.

You can also put a phillips tip in a 1/4 inch socket/ratchet

If you plan on doing more of these, buy a "sidewinder" cordless screwdriver. It should fit!

Good job sir. I'm thinking of getting these but I'm torn between the 4's and the 8's. I kind of like the way the 8's dim when you turn on the lights but after seeing your install, I kind of like them on and bright all the time. Very professional job too.

I did another install video with the 8's... kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZGujvMNqntOYe84.html ... you can do the same thing with the 8's by simply not hooking up the 3rd (orange) wire... I would make sure they are low and possibly angled down a little.. But most of the new cars with stock leds around the headlights are pretty bright now....

Wow, wow, wow!... Not sure what you mean... if you are speaking of hooking up the optional wire to make the LED lights turn off when the headlights are turned on... we wanted them on all of the time and not turn off... so they are installed the way we wanted them... maybe you should watch the WHOLE video... XMSMLL this DRLs are very bright in night time. Maybe I didn't watch whole video and you have installed a switch to hook up the optional wire to make the LED lights turn off.

XMSMLL personally I hate people with bright light on the road at night time. Take care about oncoming traffic.
