One of the Most Prolific and Powerful songs I have experienced in life. The Words are so Anointed and just simply Bible Based. I mean God really knows how to encourage us in our walk with him! I Love the Strength we have in Jesus. Stay Faithful still, and watch what God will do!

This song is NOT about the crucifixion in a Passion way. It is about dying DAILY to our wretched, putrid self and taking up said cross DAILY and serving our Master. Our cross is a reference to this testing ground called life. Our Home is waiting at the end, so be of Good Cheer and enjoy dying daily. It is very freeing.

I never really understood what this meant. This is what God has called each of is to do/ Once we repent of our sin and give are hearts to Christ. I mean 100% we must give Him. We can never reach full freedom from our sin if we are holding back parts of our lives and compromising. When God looked down on Jesus that day hanging there with all my filthy sin on Him. He was seeing me but once I realized I needed His saving Grace when He looks at me now He sees Jesus so I am Crucified with Christ.

Not saying what kind of church but one where they believe in the Word of God and back that belief up with study and teaching of the word - and rightly dividing the word. Also seek God for interpretation. Another thing in Gen 1:26a God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness.Amplified Bible. So They are one!

@phillip78 when paul and jesus used the terms "die daily" and "take up one's cross daily", respectively, they meant enduring, on a daily basis, the persecution and hardships brought on by following jesus. if this is indeed the meaning you intended to convey, you probably did it with an incorrect understanding of the "crucified with christ" used in this song; this song is not about enduring persecution in christ's name, but is about laying down one's worldly life and gaining new life in jesus.

Just to clarify, you might want to look into why each of them (as pastors or staff, or part of congregation) split off from the churches/denominational beliefs they grew up with. Their stories are just tremendous. Thanks for all you do --- just always like to have the truth out there myself.

Many, many scriptures where Jesus and the Father claim to do the exact same thing. Isaiah 43:10-28 and ch 11, Jehovah INSISTS that He is the only god and the only savior, yet we call Jesus the only savior. Who's right? Unless Jesus explained it when He said, "the Father that dweleth in me, He doeth the works." John 14:10. Colossians 1:13-20 clearly says that all things were made by Christ, yet Isaiah ch 43, ch 44, ch 45, Jehovah insists that He alone created, and He had no helper. cont-

He who has seen ME has seen the FATHER. Jesus and Jehovah are ONE. Jesus said before Abraham was I AM. God made a visible image for us to worship and that's JESUS. All power in heaven and earth have been given to Him by GOD HIMSELF. Jehovah this , Yahweh that... the point is whatever God commands us we are to TRUST AND OBEY. Being religious does not make you spiritual it's obeying and believing every word that comes from the mouth of God and the new covenant is JESUS CHRIST and him crucified

@@nfullerton1976 scripture does not say that anywhere. There is no trinity in the godhead and that's man made religion. Jesus is the son of God by the FLESH but by the Spirit he is God the Father.

That's not what "crucified with Christ" actually means. Luke 9:23. Fortunately whoever wrote the song knew exactly what it meant. Listen to the words instead of just thinking you know what it means. The song is not really focused on Christ's crucifixion.
