Got to appreciate the effort Philippines put into developing rugby in their country. Both League & Union.

Im from PNG, and to see the Philippines play so well in rugby since their National sport is Basketball. I give them all the credit for putting up such a great game! :) C'mon guys, dont think so high of PNG coz we still gotta long way to go and the Philippines dont know Rugby that well but they gave us an awesome match! thumbs up to them for that.

Good to see Philippines getting involved in Rugby League. Many PNGeans, ( esp. students) in Philippines have been trying to promote the game in Philippines. Hope to see more people involved in Rugby league in Philippines in the coming years.

Yeah Philipians has always been PNG effective neighbour in Education, Culture and Sports and Trade go Philipians.

This is Rugby league...I bet if PNG plays the Philippines in Basketball (Philippines number one sport) it'll be a 50 point margin by the Filipinos...Would love to see that happening sometime in the future...

But good win, much respect to the Philippines for their efforts. Both countries still have a long way to go.
