Hi! You are exempt from the 14 day quarantine if you qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller to Canada. At present, the accepted vaccines are only Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Janssen. Starting November 30, 2021, vaccines authorized by WHO such as Bharat Biotech, Sinopharm, and Sinovac will also be accepted by Canada. To be considered fully vaccinated, you need 2 doses of one of these vaccines or a mix of 2 accepted vaccines or 1 dose of Janssen. You should have also received your 2nd dose at least 14 days prior to the day you travel.

Hello! Yes, you're allowed to use public transportation to get to your place of quarantine as long as you practice physical distancing, wear a mask, and etc. You can see more info here: www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/publications/diseases-conditions/2019-novel-coronavirus-information-sheet.html

Hi Nicole! Sorry for the late reply. Did you have a college in mind already? What I did first was check if my preferred program is available in the college and also if the college is considered a Designated Learning Institution (DLI). After that, you need to check the admission requirements and application process (for international students) which you'll see on the website of the college. Usually, they would require you to submit your transcripts, diploma, and IELTS. The documents required varies by program. Once you've submitted all requirements online, they will start processing your application. If you need help or have more questions, send me an email at annedumpling26@gmail.com. Very Informative! Flight ko po this Oct 27. ilang minutes or hours po inabot yung pagbaba po ng airplane hangang swab test? dating ko po kasi sa toronto is 8pm then may local flight ako from toronto to ottawa naman ng 11pm same day.

Hello po! I arrived in Toronto at 8 pm and it took me about an hour and a half to complete the arrival process in the airport (immigration, getting my permits, arrival test, baggage claim, and etc.) :)

Hi! My flight date is September 1, 2021. Yes, you can travel to Canada if you're a foreign worker or student with a valid permit. You can check Canada's travel restrictions here: travel.gc.ca/travel-covid.

Hello po! Upon arrival in Canada, you'll be required to complete a declaration at the declaration kiosk. Once completed, you'll receive the declaration receipt po which you'll present to the immigration officer.

Hello po! The 3 night hotel stopover is not required anymore. I just chose to stay at a hotel for my mandatory 14 day quarantine because my residence in Canada isn’t considered a suitable place for quarantine. :)

Hi po! The declaration kiosk is self-service so you have to scan your passport and take your photo by yourself. But there are people from the airport you can ask if you have questions or encounter problems. :)

Hello po! I received both a study and work permit po once I arrived in Canada because work placement is required in my program. This means I'm allowed to work 20 hours per week during regular school terms and full time during scheduled break :)

I’m vaccinated with two shots of Sinovac which is not accepted for a fully vaccinated status in Canada. Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen are the only vaccines they accept. :)
