Sighting of largest US aircraft carrier shocks Philippines
Manila, May 16, 2024 - The Philippines was shocked by the sighting of the US Navy's CVN-71 aircraft carrier traveling at high speed in waters near its territory. The aircraft carrier was detected by Landsat 8-9 satellites about 233 kilometers northwest of Linapacan Strait, west of Palawan Island.
The CVN-71, known as the USS Theodore Roosevelt, was spotted along with two identifiable Arleigh Burke-class destroyers. In addition, one other ship mostly hidden behind clouds is suspected to be the USS Lake Erie.
According to reports, USS Theodore Roosevelt was accompanied by two identifiable Arleigh Burke-class destroyers and one other ship that was mostly hidden behind clouds. The third ship is believed to be the USS Lake Erie.
The aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt is one of the ten Nimitz-class aircraft carriers, which form the backbone of the US Navy's military projection force. It is frequently involved in military exercises and maritime security operations in the Indo-Pacific region.

The Philippines was shocked in it's arrival, means the Philippines was not informed nor consulted of this operation. USA just proves it has no respect for the sovereignty our nation and it's people and that it can make this country a pawn in whatever way to serve their interest, making the whole populace succumb to it's might. This event is not to be celebrated but should shaken our people to it's core as it means our nation's destruction and the spilling of Filipinos blood for the gain of the American Empire. Our life is not only cheap but has no value to America their only interest is to use us to contain China. Why not use Japan, Korea or better Taiwan. Why Philippines? Because, we haven't entangled ourselves from our colonial mentality believing we're inferior and must obey our master. The state of our nation is.dark and most of our people don't realize the gravity of our current situation. God help us.
