if you think this is a game, you are setting yourself up to being the next cuba. we in the rest of ASEAN has already switch side, the writting is on the wall, US decline is inevitable and China rise is certain. just fly to all the other capital in ASEAN, and you will see Chinese EV on the street and no sight of any American cars. China doesn't care what Philippine does, anymore than US care what Cuba does. and what is dumber is Philippine submitted it EEZ claim to the UN that include Sabah as it territory! Philippine just made itself the biggest threat to Malaysia. think about that, is it logic for Philippine to contest it claim against Malaysia at a time it needed ASEAN support. ASEAN will certainly side with Malaysia over Philippines because we want to avoid all territorial dispute, if we give legitimacy to Philippine claim, what about Thailand claim against Cambodia? the whole of ASEAN would break apart if we allow Philippine to make it claim against Malaysia because that would set a precedence. if Philippines has to die for ASEAN to have peace, that a price ASEAN is willing to pay. don't force us to choose. end your stupid claim against Malaysia first.

For a foreigner it is amazing the action of the Phillipines Ferdinand Marcos wrnt to Havai with billions of dollars to enjoy live.. His son will fo the same and it is accepted by the Philippines society.

I don't think Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar feels threatened by what Philippines has on its soil. On the contrary, it is China that will feel threatened. SE Asia used to be more peaceful till China came and started throwing its weight around.

Philippines will be a graveyard if war breaks out. Marcos is a weak leader. A lot of Filipinos are hungry because of bad economy. Marcos should focus on elevating the economy not creating conflict with China.

@@wendelldig591 It does not matter you dumb.. US alone cannot face and defeat china as per RAND corporation report. So, they are grouping many nations as possible. Just look at what is happening in Ukraine, how much money spent and support given in terms of military, economy (sanctions) and finance to jolt Russia? And you are saying that China which is of at least 8 times larger economy and 10 times manufacturing economy cannot and industrial capacity cannot withstand the combined the US, Philippines military? If you put sanctions on China, the world will run out before they do. Philippines number 1 trading partner is China and where will you get the supplies if you run out? West motto is divide and conquer and in this instance, US goal is not to destroy china but to stop it's development as much as possible and regime change. World is changing and people are not stupid anymore as they can see through the deception and hypocrisy of west. If it comes down to fight, neighboring countries will not support Philippines and they would stay out definitely unlike Ukraine which has tremendous support from its neighbors. This leaves the Philippines the trouble maker or instigator for disruption of peaceful ASIA and will be seen as one in the history just like Germany regardless of china win or lose. I agree with you one thing that Philippines will not be like Ukraine and it will be very much worse...

True and yes Philippines will loose a war against china. But dont be so sure that china will not suffer any casualties. And hope and pray that you are not one of them
