Philippines Land Project MORE PROBLEMATIC Then We Expected - (Land House Preparation)
Over the last few days we have been searching for locals to help us clear the land. As well looking at how much work it is. Also visited the local market to look for Plants to grow in the land once it's cleared. Fun dives in between as well!

Carabao and a goat don't eat that kind of grass you have in your land, It much better if you hire someone to cut it down burned or uproot it. The locals maybe know how to deal with it.

Spray it with chemical, ask nearby local farmers they know kind of chemical they will spray to kill the weeds

I suggest you pot the plants and transfer when the land is cleared , and put a stick where you plant and surround with wire cage to protect them . remember vegetation will go again very fast so cage the plants you put in so they don't get cut down when you have to clear it again
so that's why sherlyn has an interview as per this vlog(towards the end) --- and now, she's included in the 100 finalists for Bb Pilipinas --- yes lets the good times roll for finnlyn
You can get a.seeds of papaya...you buy the fruits that you like then the seeds you can plant it no need to buy the acctual plants its can cost you more money...example you buy manggo just dry the manggo seeds then cover with soil then put some water...same with avocado, papaya, even coconut just get the most old one and let it in your land...you can dwart it on your own theres some way in you tube how do dwart the coconot before plant it..our you buy seeds...you remember that some one sent you all kids of seeds and you give to cure you can buy them also more affordable i think your not in hurry then...just buy a pot or a empty container put soil then put your seeds let it grow there before transfer in your land....just suggestion to save you money

Marcotted fruits bear fruits 3 to 5 years but planting seeds take more years before bearing fruits. My lanzones are marcotted by it takes 10 years before it bears fruits
Finn and Sherlyn, it's very nice place where you want to built your dream house. But what I thought at first is - please don't remove all the plants from the hill. When it's heavy raining you'll have a landslide. I can see this in several places here in Indonesia where the people removed all trees and plants from their property. Also save your house with deep beton foundation. The houses here in Asia are not built as strong as in Europe or Island. Please think about it. I want you to have a nice time together in your dram house. Lovely greetings from Indonesia
Don't use chemicals Finn!!! Wait for it to rain, the plants are easier to pull out of the ground. Once everything is removed. You can maintain the new growth with a brush cutter. You will only need to employ one person/gardener to brush cut. Find someone reliable. It will be a on going job, until building starts. All the traffic and site prep will stop weed growth. Then your gardener can become a builders laborer. As you know, when your away. You will need a caretaker, so think about their accommodation in your build. I'm sure you already have. Good luck and have fun!
I suggest that the first thing to do before planting is to find locals who will help you clear the land..that is removing all the grass.then fenced it ,then after that you can plant trees and plants.
Grow your own bananas and papayas. I think Finn said he likes avocados. So find an avocado plant. Find other citrus beside calamansi. Grow moringa. You can grow cacao too. Finn said the mango tree is outside the property boundary so plant your own mango tree. You can grow dragon fruit. You can have a spice garden too. So many possibilities.
Build a house first. Minimize removing vegetation roots will prevent erosion during rainy season especially on the slopes. After you build your house, then hire a farmer to clean the land. That is the cheapest and environment friendly. Then plant what ever you want to plant.
May I say ...Beauty and the Beast.....no not you and Sherlyn...lol.....but the underwater footage of the beautiful creatures vs the bush on your land...such contrast so not far away from each other. Another sensational video especially bringing us closer to what is down underwater showing all in its natural habitat as I am sure many many of your subs, me included would not ever go scuba diving etc. Thankyou so much and keep up the great work you and Sherlyn provide to us all. 😃🙏
Guyabano, dragon fruits, citrus, lansones, bananas, magic fruits, mangoes, etc should be nice to grow in the yard! Clear the land first. And has to be six meters away from the fence.
You usually don't plant before construction, too much disturbance while the space is a building site.
Your underwater shot is better now ,as you showed more big and colorful fish in Negros. Congratulations! More upgrades and improvement on your land.
Your property is as beautiful as your wife. Take good care of it(the property)😄 I'm sure your wife's been taking good care of herself.😊 Don't get too discouraged by the daunting looks of the condition of your property. When Magellan landed not too far from there 500 years ago it was probably worse😄 You can turn that place into paradise with the proper guidance. I'm sure there are plenty of help around for you to accomplish it.😊
I'm happy for you guy's. And so proud of you finn get your own home and living in beautiful land you pick look amazing
Finn if you plan to plant coconut, go to Department of Agriculture they can help and assist where to find a nursery
Its really nice to buy from these local produce aside from most of it are organic, you were able to support the local farmers! Keep it up guys!
Hi Finn and Sher good to watch your vid again, loved the underwater and the background music. If it was my land i’d plant some red bougainvilleas near the cliffs, they crawl and once they start flowering it would look phenomenal! Just an opinion, but of course fruit bearing trees, plants and veggies a must. Nice job on the calamansi tree! Be safe!
That young lady with you is soooo very very pretty!!!!!! She looks with a kind heart too! You guys were so blessed!

Those underwater creatures are out of this world .. Amazing shapes and colors
The market is very local... love it 😀 😍 ❤
get a truck loads of waste rice hulls. Chopped those shrubs first and dump rice hulls about knee high the purpose of that is without sunlight, it would choke them and die and you get free fertilizer in the end.

Goo’day Finn and Sherlyn! In one shot there looks like a spider swimming underwater. Sometimes fishnet is a culprit and felt sorry about the fish gets trapped in there. Excited for what else you are going to plant on your land. Sherlyn is very beautiful with makeup on but also beautiful without it. True Filipina beauty.😊

Because of the people like you, the under the sea is not a mystery anymore, we can see it’s beauty and the tiniest creatures living in it. Thanks to you.
When I saw that fish with yellow color in the skin, the first word that I uttered was "Wow!".
Finn you dont have to clean it according to your friend…. just let the construction crew clean the place. I know there will be a lot of digging during the construction a lot of gravels and sand will be poured down in the area. What you are planning will only double your expenses. You have only contact your contractor and let him start your project. Later hire a landscaper and that will be his job to clean the lot. Again what you are planning to do is not necessary, the construction will clean your land i tell you!!!

Need to be careful of clearing completely to large of an area you are in place of large rain falls with no plants you my have large mud slide and have little good soil remaining.. You need to know how much slope you have and work with the land
Thanks for showing in your vlogs, how rich and diverse Philippine marine life is! For someone who can't explore the seas (can't even swim😄), your diving vlogs are truly a joy to watch!😃

Sherlyn is already pretty without makeup and very stunning with makeup on. Naol haha
I suggest Have it scraped by bulldozer then plow it with tractor to easily uproot those shrubs. You can also plant kamagong trees on your fence border like the farm of BeanAlonzo. Just a thought.
Mama Rose (Kulas' neighbor) has dwarf coconut and they harvest tuba almost everyday :) Then when they feel like harvesting, they cut it off to eat the precious hearts of palm (ubod)

GREAT music with the dive! It's magical what you see underwater. You are definitely living life as it should be lived Finn. You are an inspiration for all who want to live a life of joy and simplicity. Your videos are very inspirational.
Love the wonderful underwater videography! Clearing the land.....I'd be like.....where's the Bob Cat? That's a big job! Plenty of sweat equity in your horizon. Well worth it!
Thank you so much, Finn Snow I didn't expect Philippines has an amazing under the sea creatures, I thought it's only outside the Philippines. We, Filipino's , who know you, We thank you.. really. Keep safe, guys..
Great video, pictures under the sea, amazing 👌. Love you guys provincial life 🌴🌴🌴

Very impressive, professional underwater videos, never seen before only from you, keep up the good work, inspiration to many locals!!!
Beautiful fishes, different colours and designs ….spider-like creatures, shrimps, critters….everything is awesomely beautiful!😘
Sherylyn you look beautiful.. And good luck to your project fin
I always get mesmerized by your underwater explorations, Finn. Such truly wonderful and amazing creatures you feature - the fishes, the critters, every creature you focused on with your camera -- I always stop what I do and just glued my eyes to the screen. Your discoveries are illuminating, Finn. That's why I keep watching your vlogs. Kudos to you and your fellow divers, Justin, Alex and friends.
A big lizard making sounds like that is a "sign of Good Luck". Heard this a lot from people growing up in Iligan City. 🤩
don't get plants til house is done then plant it all,, otherwise it could be ruined during build

I suggest clear it out when before construction begins. They will just grow back again coz of the birds and insects carrying polens and seeds. If u clear it out too early u risk losing some soil in your land during rainy season.
we miss you Finn, hoping you're not distracted or something ... hoping everything is working well for you♥
Sherlyn looks cute in her outfit😍 so petite😍 My suggestion is put first those calamansi and stuff in a pot for at least 4 months or so to develop good rooting, then plant it on Nov or Dec bec right now it’s just too hot. You said before you love love sour soup/Guyana, now you can plant them with mangoes and lots of coconut of course. Good luck on your house building journey, patience is a must 😁😁😁
Think of it as labor pain of developing a land. I suggests planting lots of trees in your land first after clearing the area.
if you plan to start build your house now, don't just hired some random people! make sure those people are skilled workers... find Architect so if there's a mistake the Arch. will be the responsible for that..
Maybe you should get someone to check what you have growing wild. Some of it could be worth keeping. 👍
Beautiful underwater creatures with it's own unique characteristics..😊😊🙌🙌
Finn you can eat a Dwarf coconut and if you want a seed I will give you one. I have a lot on my property in Balugo just up from Dumaguete . If you are interested in one contact me.
Dwarf coconuts ARE edible. I hope your seller actually gets you a good variety. They grow very slowly and bear fruit while still short.

Hi Angry Kittens! it's you again!
So woderful colorful sea creatures. I felt relaxed upon viewing them. Thank you Finn and Sherlyn .
clean only where you will put up a house...the slope part leave it with grass to prevent soil erosion...
The sounds of a WakWak (Vampire Bird) are attributed to Gecko at night and a nocturnal bird. Not a real Vampire bird that carried people away
And again, I enjoyed the video. Thank you, Fin, for showing the beauty of the Philippines.
Those sea creatures are beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
you might try a Tiller/Cultivator to clear before burning. plus you can use for garden and planting
We have a freindly big lizard like yours. He comes out to say hello at night. 😃👍
Hi Finn and Sherlyn. Plant some papaya and mangoes .But you need to sort out water supply first. And clear some shrubs before planting.Take care .xx
A SEPTIC SYSTEM plan/location is priority ONE, in conjunction with distance from a well.
According to the Geico tuko, it’s going to rain today. Such an epic opening 😁, with the tuko’s weather forecast 😁. Another rural life experience… I miss this life. Thanks for sharing your experience
Wow nice diving spot plenty of fish like lapu lapu n others..amazing spot..have fun vlogging
Finn, not all fruits with the same name are equal: some are sweeter, some are bigger, some are more meaty, some more sturdier and pest-resistant, etc. than others, depending on the variety. Best way is to grow the seedling yourself from the seeds of the one you have seen and/or tasted; or to consult or order from established and reliable orchards as marcotted branches or seedlings from a high quallity parent tree. Good luck.
I hope you could dive in dumaguete(escaño or boulevard) to show us how beautiful and active the coral reefs there.
I’m looking forward for your land tree planting & house building. I loved the music on your diving vlogs, unique critters & multicolored beautiful fishes.
i love to watch sea cratures life under water it was magnificent shots congrats finsnow i was watching most of your videos regularly and I love your content creation that always connects with human existence and the nature
ITS FINN TIME 💪😎🇵🇭 stay safe.. Have a wonderful day💪💪
Carabao and goat are both good and excellent grass eater . They don’t stop eating . It’s a good idea if you are planning to employ both .
Suggestion you need to clear up your property first and then spray for weeds before purchasing plants so you’ll know exactly where your house will be and where to plant your plants.
Hi Finn, I'm a long time viewer but first time commenter. I don't really want to comment, but I am getting worried about you guys, because you haven't posted in a while. The calamansi trees are a must, so many uses, too bad they don't grow in the States. What about a large 🥭 tree? The dive shot was so serene! 💙
Amazing clips as always, Finn 👌🏻 btw congrats to Sherlyn on her Ms. U journey! 💕
Hiya Finn and Sherlyn, sorry late in watching. Always good vibes. Enjoyable content. Beautiful underwater footage. Chilled tunes. So cool you planted a tree. And so cheap. My apple trees cost over 15pounds each here in the UK. No better taste than homegrown. Exciting times for your plot of land. Beautiful drone shots. I hope you get the plot cleared. Lots of hard work ahead. But so worth it. Thank you for sharing. Have a great week. Take care.
I love diving vlogs. I love snorkelling ever since I went to Coron 12 or so years ago and sadly can't dive because I can't swim and of hypertension. These vlogs are a treat to me.

Buy a tiller, you're going to need it forever.
You can start planting whatever you want to plant in your land after you finish clearing up... it's better. Good luck, guys.
You can do it. Congrats
You can go to Dept of Agriculture and ask for seedlings...
If you are going to plant coconut trees, choose the dwarf kind so that it will not grow tall like the regular ones and also it is easier to gather the fruits. God bless and good luck in your project.
One way, tractor to weedout the tough shrubs and grass, 3hrs finish. Or carabao with wide fork, double purpose, tilt the soil while uprooting.
Are you joining Miss U soon Sherlyn? Wow next chapter of your life. Glad you’re having a permanent place soon Finn
Hello Finn and Sherlyn , you really need to mark out where your house is gonna be built so your know better where to plant . take care
Just ask dwarf coconut tree to Kulas they have it everywhere in there area they can ship that one to you Finn
I love your underwater shots Finn and a pretty impressive camera set-up too. Seems so expensive though. I have been diving for more than 20 years and I have never seen such critters that you and Critter Hunter have shown. I am so grateful I can still continue my dive adventures through your lens.
