PHILIPPINES GIANT FERRY to MANILA! 36 Hour Travel by Boat (Shipping Motor)
WE RODE A GIANT PHILIPPINES FERRY BOAT TO MANILA FROM CAGAYAN DE ORO! IT GIVES YOU SOME CRUISE SHIP VIBES!
This video is our journey taking a motor scooter from Cagayan de Oro on the 2go Masagana boat. I take you through checking it in at the port, then we board the ship and our business class private room. For a 36 hour journey by sea, this is certainly one of, if not the best boat you can ride. I was amazed there was even a coffee shop on the ship... a very legit on!
The Becoming Filipino motor scooter adventure has begun... but first, we take a Philippines giant ferry to Manila!

Worked on the bridge for 3.5 years. All the concrete designed by me. Fun facts: each tower is on 21 piles each containing around 400cum of concrete, the pile caps are 5500cum of concrete and the bridge is 50m above sea level and the towers are 150m tall. The Philippines should be proud of this bridge as it is a testament to engineering at it's best.

Sir dumbmutts, thank you for informing us this magbificient bridge designed by Filipinos.
Nice to see you and Kumar travelling again. He's the OG companion
Remember when I was kid, we used to ride boat instead of flying, kase mas affordable means of transportation especially for the whole family. I still remember the names of the ships like the Philippine Pricess, Sweet Roro from Sulpicio and William lines. Good memories back in the early to mid 80’s Cebu to Manila round trip. Power on bro!

That looks like a load of fun to do just as a mini cruise between CDO and Manila! Don't really need to get off or go anywhere. 😲🤙
A brand new experience with Kulas in the Philippines. Another big thank you.
Wonderful to see you Kulas and Kumar doing another trip together. I know we will have lots of fun with you both. My regards to everyone from Central Florida, USA. 🎉
Hello Kulas and Kumar, enjoy your ferry boat ⛴ trip,be safe 💖🙏❤👍
Nice to see Kulas n Kumar back travelling together again. It’s been a while!
Wow, thanks for documenting this, so helpful! I can’t wait to try this ship with my hubby. 😊
Many many years ago, I took a SuperFerry ship by WG&A (the precursor of 2GO) to take the board exam. On our way back to Iligan, the ship passed by Cebu. At that time they allow passengers to disembark and so we walked straight to the direction of SM, grassland pa ang lot, bought a few things and went back to the ship immediately. Boy I missed riding ferries.
very teempting to try on next time I'll be there ..... thanks for sharing Kyle
Nice travels! Cool ship! Enjoy!
What a great one! Thanks! 👍
adding this to my bucket list this year, ride a 2go ferry. didnt know they actually look decent inside.

Cant wait to see your new adventure to the north.
Enjoy your journey and have a safe adventure!
Ang Ganda nman nung barista🥰
They should centralized the boarding passes for ships there in one building..No need to go 4 or 5 separate offices to process the documents..
Exciting!!! I’ll do this! Kulas wear proper support shoes - in a few years your feet will be hurting and unhealthy with too much tsinelas wearing while walking and traveling. Take it from an expert
Wiw nice adventure by the sea
Ganda naman ng barko na yan
The barista was cute ☺️
Nice moves brad! got the grove dance and sing brad hehehe

Advance happy bday to Kumar..yahoo hooha!
It seems a lot of effort and running around to put a cycle on a ferry, but the process is half the fun... at least the first few times. It's not the fastest way to travel, but I always look forward to it and even more so on a ship like that. Wow!

We love you kumar ❤❤❤
I also have an experience when we were on a ship named Superferry 12. There is a young lady from Cebu and she speaks Bisaya all the way through. The moment we arrived maybe at around Corregidor island she started talking in Tagalog. During our conversation, she accidentally dropped her bottled water inside our cabin room and loudly said "HALA NABASA ANG TUBIG! That made me think if she said it right?
@ 0:14 hahaha Kumar is trolling Kulas hahaha
Kulas❤ Keep safe
Enjoy
Back-riding is so funny
Maligayang paglalakbay Kulas!
My experience going to CDO by Superferry was that the captain put the boat in full speed trying to reach CDO before the 7 pm boat going to Cebu. He needed to drop anchor because the 7 pm boat was going out. The boat went around and around to dislodge the anchor. We reach CDO port after 10 pm with several hours late.
22:50 wow, watched the entire video. This is a perfect choice actually if you are not in a hurry. Have fun Kulas and Kumar. I just realized your names are twins lol 😅

Before I used Superferry from Manila to CDO with stopover to Cebu. In Cebu we went SM City Seaside but because we were lost in translation I was not able to buy Lechon Cebu in foodcourt.
Balak ko na mag barko pag uwi lagi nalng eroplano hahahha
That's one long winded process. I used to live in the south east of England and we used to travel regularly with our car to France by ferry. Even in the 1990s you just bought your ticket, drove to the check-in entrance, show your ticket and passport and board. So much simpler. Having lived in the Philippines 4 years and I'm getting used to the processes, but having to go to multiple locations to achieve one outcome has to be frustrating for Filipinos too.

I think it depends what port. Some ports have sort of centralized it now by having all the papers/permits in one building.

@bakimum5286 very probably, it's not so complicated for foot passengers. But taking any kind of vehicle adds more processes.

Kulas Lakas Tama hahahhahhahhahaha
Nice to see you two on the road again. Too much regulations, theyprocess & fees to get your motorcycle on board, why don't they consolidate it together!
I remember loading my scooter in 2GO. They steal some tools from the ubox and a some other things since you surrender your keys. Didn't know we can't file anything for that. It's just what it is.
In the U.S. (and many European countries) when traveling through any major ferry system there is a single point of contact for the driver & passengers. For short trips the driver pretty much pays the tab and drives on into their place for the short trip. For longer trips it is a bit more involved. The Philippines needs to move into the 21st century.
❤❤
next vlog would be a bus expressway manila to davao route
I wish I could go there ☹️
So expensive but ok free food, that's ok😊.
Something I don't miss in the Philippines is the red tape to process transactions. Countries like Canada would only require you to click your mouse if you are travelling with a vehicle. Done in a minute or two. A seamless process. Kulas had to spend half a day mazing from one building to the next trying to figure out what to do. Too much paperwork! 😆
