Yeah, it's all fun and games, living with each other until the Imam says the Jihad is on, then all bets are off and heads will roll. It's kind of like playing around with a poisonous snake talking about how calm the snake is and they are actually good...until it bites you out of the blue. Or, when the Abu Sayyaf or Maute or MILF or other groups need cash, then they'll take the Brave, loving Kano as they have done to so many foreigners, and Filipinos they don't like or think they can get cash from their Chinese employers; it means nothing to those loving groups. A simple KZread search or Google search will reveal their history of terror and bloodshed.

I am from Philippines but I have never been to Basilan. I love how people there interact with you, Kulas! They are so nice, helpful, hospitable, and open minded. Beautiful people. I think Christians and Muslims work hand in hand in that place. I envy that you were able to visit that side of the country. I wish tourism there will flourish.

Most of the times, cinematography of MSM adds factor on how we see Basilan from other parts of the Philippines. These vloggers on the ground depict real life , diversity and see how happy looking people on the place.

This is an amazing road trip Vlog of Kulas. All Filipinos should support of this guy for showcasing the place Isabella Basilan. This just change our perception of the place. This is a beautiful place and nice people that we are proud of being a Filipino.

In 2000, we used to do the marketing in that area, stay for couple of minutes there at mabuhay store and grabbed burgers and mango shake at angel’s refreshments.. such a beautiful city and good people

Kulas said before that Maramag is the cleanest market in the Philippines. Today, it is Isabela Market... retrieve the vlog and see. I agree too. Huge Mangrove trees growing seen by the drone, are probably the largest Mangrove area in the Philippines.

Basilan is a home of seafood like in Dagupan Pangasinan and Daanbantayan Cebu 🐟🐠🦀🦞🦐🦑🍣🍤 And in Basilan they are Tausug. people. And the market is really clean in Basilan. It was used to be a wet market like in Carmen and Cogon and Agora market in Cagayan De Oro. And there is a statue of Rizal in Basilan 👨‍💼 And there is a restaurant with a nice view in the forest 🍽🍴🥄🔪🌳🌳🌳 And they had a fish pond like in Opol Misamis Oriental 🐠🐠🐠 And there are painting of Tusugs on the wall like in Xavier University in Cagayan De Oro and it used to be on the hospital in Northern Mindanao Medical Center. And they had Lanzones that grown in the other side of the city like in Camiguin. And they had rambutan and mangosteen that is grown on the other side of the city like in Davao. It is really peaceful already in Basilan.
