We gathered before sunrise, at about 4:00 AM, on Easter Sunday for the traditional Regina Coeli processions in honor of the meeting of Our Lady and her Risen Sun before daybreak on Easter Sunday. The Son of God rises before the earthly sun, and the glorious light of victory is first seen by Our Lady. Two processions traveling along different routes bore images of the Risen Christ and Our Lady through the streets until the figures met on the grounds of the church. This meeting is captured in the video, which features the joyful encounter between the Blessed Mother and her Son, the singing of the Regina Coeli (the traditional prayer of Our Lady's Easter joy) and a young angel removing the veil of sorrow from Our Lady's head as she rejoices at seeing her Son.
