Philia performs condemned live at the Wacken Metal Battle Philippines
Philia boasts a stellar line-up of accomplished artists, each bringing their unique flair to the group. Leading the charge is Ramona “Arci” Muñoz, professionally known as Arci Muñoz. A renowned Filipino actress and a dedicated Sergeant in the Philippine Air Force, Mona’s vocal prowess sets the stage on fire. Her individual achievements, including an Awit Award and several nominations, reflect the band's overall excellence.
She's joined by the gifted Kristian “X” Uy, a maestro on the lead guitar. Known for his time with the famous band "Agape”, X is a driving force in Philia’s songwriting, bringing a wealth of lyrics and impeccable timing. Paulo “Pau” Pampuan, a versatile musician formerly of "Saydie", a well-known Philippine band, anchors Philia. His 2018 recording of drums for the self-titled Philia album, coupled with his mastery of rhythm guitars and samplers, adds depth to their live and recorded performances.
JL Siscar, the bass prodigy, unites the group with his powerful bass lines. His experience with established projects like Chelsea Alley, Even, and Philia has solidified his reputation in the Philippine music scene. Adding to the rhythmic brilliance is Ash Heywood, a master drummer from Gibraltar, whose background in thrash and death metal drumming has broadened the band's stylistic horizons.
Completing this dynamic ensemble is Mark Thompson, a sonic alchemist with two nominations for “Best Electronic DJ” at the Aliw Awards and the title of Red Bull Music 3Style Philippine Champion. His expertise as a DJ and producer elevates Philia's music, further enhancing their distinct sound. Together, this all-star lineup makes Philia a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
