@@charge5421 are you kidding ? Eric Bristow, the one and only Crafty Cockney, 5 time world champ from '80 to '86. Modern darts started with him, Taylor's mentor.

Still watching this cause this has been the turning point in MVG's career. This is where he has begun to not only believe but also realized he is the best player in the world of darts. After losing a worlds final which he probably believed he should have won, winning the PL and topping the table made realize he is the best player in the world. He is mentally so strong and gifted with the greatest talent. What a final, epic!!

Bro, that had to be the best celebration to winning a match ever, him pumping both of his arms in such an aggressive manner really makes me feel his positive intensity. If anyone knows one better, I beg you to let me know

Looking back at old matches its strange to see the players share the same table. Im surprised it took covid to realise having your own table is much better and looks more professional.

Imagine if taylor was a few years younger, rivalry too match anything in sport this could have been.

absolute fantastic game, both great players. beating phil taylor takes some doing, but if any one can do it then MVG can.....

Hij heeft die Taylor goed bij de strot gegrepen in deze match.. Op het juiste moment precies het juiste gedaan en met zeer veel machtsvertoon die 132 uitgegooid terwijl Taylor op 40 stond om er 9-9 van te maken. Doe het maar op dat moment.. wat was MVG speciaal.. Inmiddels zijn we 8 jaar verder en is de dartsport nog nooit zo sterk geweest. We hebben nu elk jaar een top 10 waarin iedereen een bedreiging is voor elkaar.. Hopelijk komt MVG weer aan de top in een nieuwe MVG tijdperk zoals in 2013-2019.

Can't wait for tonight.

How does Mardle get commentary roles? I mean he's a decent pundit but not commentator. Part is the only one that can do both.

The one announcer defin salty that Phil Taylor is better than him in 3very way possible

I'm a bigger fan of MvG than I am of Taylor and in my opinion, Michael is the best player the game has ever seen (because I don't just look at statistics) with Taylor being a very very close second. The Taylor and MvG eras are just not comparable. Taylor's walk-on does give me giant goose tits every single time 😁 Just my opinion and I'm fine with others thinking Taylor is the best... or even another player. I believe Michael's very best trumps any other player's very best.

Mvg is much better. Taylor maybe the greatest but surely not the best. Top level of mvg is much higher. Phil was lucky to win the worlds in 2013. Mvg should have won that match.

MvG looked like he might become even better than Phil at one point but I don't think so any longer. Look up "high dart average" on wikipedia if you don't believe me, stats don't lie.
