The adventure continues and this time we’re at Ashton gate for the very first time to see Man City take on Bristol City under the lights in the FA Cup Round 5
It would be a very energetic start and chances for both teams, but it was City who took an early lead through Phil Foden after brilliant play from De Bruyne and Mahrez!
Bristol attacked down the left hand side, and forced Akanji into mistakes but they couldn’t break City down.
City would have constant chances but couldn’t find the second goal, but eventually did find it through Phil Foden scoring his second goal of the game.
De Bruyne with a super strike would make it 3 and cap off a brilliant away day for the blues!!

Very entertaining game, City so professional and Bristol well up for the fight, fair play to both sides and to both sets of fans, who were excellent all game. .

Personally, don’t think the 3-0 score line reflected just how tough we made it for you. Once the second went in, was all you. But before that was very good defensively and caused issues on the counter. Good luck on the cup run, we’ll be sure to win the final when you’re kicked out and we get told to replace you 😅

I think Bristol played well, but we was in control without finishing chances, the young lad up front was class act wouldnt mind having look at him in prem, excellent atmosphere at the ground!! City fans was class as usual but got to hand it to your following Bristol fans stuck by their boys from start to finish!!! Good luck for the rest of the season Bristol and city on to play Burnley at home to welcome back a man city here! Foden was class all night on both sides but I'm bit worried bout keV de bruyner who has been poor last few weeks even tho he has scored in the end but over last 2 games he had 11 shots all wildly over and alot of his simple passes have been poor poor then he pops up with 2 top passes as pre assists makes me even more annoyed!! Come on keV get the simple stuff sorted you are way better than that!!! Anyway next round here we come, good luck Bristol for rest of season! Another amazing away day again come on city
