Still think that City has slightly better chances but Real Madrid has more competitive experience in the Champions League and knows how squeeze victories at this level.

All I can say is wow!

Crazy game... I am Madrid fan. City play the most attractive football in the world. They had a 2 goal lead 3 times and never stopped attacking. I think both teams will be even better in the second leg, because of players like Walker, Cancelo and Casemiro returning from injuries. Hopefully we find a way to turn it around.

Don’t underestimate Madrid’s attack. For periods in the 2nd half, every counter for about 10 minutes was threatening. If they play like that for 90 minutes at home, and city squander chances like they did today, they’re in deep water.

Bernardo is the quiet genius in that midfield sometimes even better than De Bruyne. The way he flicked the ball over the Real Madrid midfielders for that missed opportunity by Mahrez (the one he shoots on the top corner) is some Messi level skill.

I hate that Phil still got his mind on that chance/ moment -stay positive lad we played fantastic !

Amazing game. The group stage of the competition is getting very stale but the knockout stage is as good as it's ever been.

Man City still need an actual clinical finisher who wants to attack the goal line as much as possible. They're so good so they can just walk the ball in the net most games but they're still lacking a poacher and world class finisher after missing out on Kane. If Man City had a player like Kane, Benzema or Lewandowski they would be unstoppable.
