This video introduces us to Aesthetics at Las Positas College, and runs through several historical philosophers of art, and several contemporary ways of analyzing art. Philosophers include, Plato, Aristotle, Kant, Hegel & Schopenhauer. Methods of art analysis include Modernism, Marxism, Feminism, Post-Colonialism, Formalism, Jungian and Freudian analysis, and the lens of everyday aesthetics.
