Fishpond is a collegiate love story with a refreshing comical twist. It begins when the hero and the heroine are 16 and continues well into their sixties. Influenced by the silly romanticism often depicted on the silver screen, the heroine insists that the hero should go with her to Lonavala. What happens thereafter is full of fun.
Manasi Magikar, the well-known Marathi actress, has played a very different kind of role in Fishpond. Co-actors Deepak Rege, Suneel Naik, and Medha Gokhale have further enriched the experience.
Written and directed by Vineeta Pimpalkhare, this may be considered a must-watch film.
