    Humans do actually rely on pheromones. We also have an VNO. The video is inaccurate though. Humans do have an accessory bulb.

    ⁠@@JRockTTI haven’t seen any studies that suggest the presence of an AOB (including articles as recent as 2023) , though there is proof of the VNO existing in many people. That’s not to say they couldn’t theoretically work in some other way, just that the particular method used by other animals likely isn’t applicable.

    Wait so if humans rely little on phermones why make a video over it? If we do not have an accessory olfactory bulb then does our signal go straight to the glomerulus?
