Exactly! It's so funny to see them acting as if the disrespect only comes from foreign blacks. I'm like "yeah it's true that some back immigrants don't wanna have nothing to do with y'all, but there's a reason for it. Back then y'all used to give black foreigners hell." And they don't believe me. lol. Like the song by The Doors "People are strange".

Yes for real. I'm Haitian and many Haitians were also attacked, verbally and physically by African Americans. Many of my Haitian friends and relatives stay within the Caribbean community. The African American community was not very welcoming to foreigners. I'm so happy things have changed so much.

I agree with Charla, I enjoy African music and I don’t hear the profanity that comes with rap. SA Amapiano is truly a vibe that you have to feel. I don’t always understand every word they are saying, but I can feel what they are saying. Man…when the beat hits you, you’ll be saying Yebo! They effortlessly taps into those beats/vibrations that originated everything. It’s sound healing as well. If you’re like me, you’ll be listening and dancing to this music on every occasion. It helps me connect to my origins. Love, love, love it from Chicago.
