omg so I was watching this first thing in the morning while having my coffee and waking up, and while you were writing "write something" at the top, my brain was like, oh ok she's gonna fill that in later... as if it were a placeholder... It took me entirely too long to understand lol. 🤦‍♀I enjoy these kinds of videos though. I've never been able to create a schedule and stick with it. I'm more of a backplanner. I basically just keep a general to-do list and block out times I have classes and appointments so I know when I have time to study (yay student life 🥲). It's fun to see how other people plan. 🙂 I feel that lack of energy thing so hard though. For me it tends to happen closer to exams, which is obviously not ideal lol. I actually dealt with really awful burnout last year. I was getting a German GED b/c I never finished university in the States and my US HS diploma wasn't enough. It was an exhausting experience both mentally and emotionally. I remember showing up to classes one day during my last year and finding I just could not follow what was going on, like my brain just couldn't processes what was being said. I saw my doctor and she suggested I see a therapist. It took about 3 months to get an appt with one who spoke English. We talked for a while and she said she suspected I was burnt out. It being my last year, putting off getting my GED to rest was just not something I was willing to do (they take burnout very seriously here), so she helped me get through it. When I finally graduated, I was so exhausted I didn't even feel relieved or happy, just tired. That was last May and uni started at the end of September for me. I honestly cannot tell you most of what I did during those months. For all I know, I spent it staring at a wall lol. 😅 Anyway, if you're starting to experience burnout, I hope you don't experience it as bad as that. And I'm sorry for your loss. I know how special abuelitas are. 💜 Sorry this comment is all over the place 🙈💜

Yeah i didn’t end up writing anything so I’m obviously I’m not great with sticking with plans either 🫠 But yeah, I’m definitely on my way to burnout but i started therapy a couple of weeks ago and we’ve been working on managing balance and boundaries. It also doesn’t help that I’m neurodivergent so the burnout feels even more severe. But I’m so glad that you were able to receive the care and support you needed to meet your goal while also not completely shutting down. Therapy and therapists are so helpful! I hope that Uni is going better for you then you GED did!

@@justcallmeivonne Yes, I'm super glad I was able to find a therapist to help me out. And thanks, yea uni is definitely better. I'm still adjusting to amount of work there is to do, but it helps that I enjoy most of my classes. 😅 I'm glad therapy seems to be going well for you too! Sending you all my positive vibes. ☺
