I am phD student at Thailand.

Wasted 2.5 years of my intial phd years… did a vast literature review and managed to write 2 review papers. Struggling to find the right journal and formatting it into its template. Therefore havnt got into my real research work. Feel low and demotivated Though ur video kind of pushed me back on track… I still feel lost

Hey! Yes it is - the methods/approach you have experience with can be used to relate to your new PhD field. The topic itself doesn't necessarily have to match.

Nothing was given to me. Totally abandoned by my supervisor and colleagues. Studying abroad. This PhD ruined my life. I hate academia. I wanna die, but I have a son.
