Hello Mike, Thank you man. It is very useful especially for foreigners. I came from Uzbekistan and never had been studying in the USA med school. I am fail in the Pharmacology course right now. I must retake the course again. At the NSA meeting, other nursing students recommended you guys. pharmacology is hard! I recommend doing a TON of practice questions, try searching "quizlet pharmacology" followed by whatever the name of your textbook is. you could study for hours but if you dont do practice questions, it won't be enough for your exams. I learned this the hard way. good luck! also, Nexus Nursing has a lot of great videos with practice questions too:)

Don't purchase any membership. Totally not worth the money. I did and regret it. Stick to the free videos for supplemental information. I passed the NCLEX in 75 questions. ATI, Klimek material, and the free simple nursing videos or other videos on KZread was how I did it. Good luck! Don't let companies take advantage of you during a most stressful time.

In the video you stated MAOI inhibitors enhance efficacy for Parkinson drugs and that Selegiline can be used with Levidopa and Carbidopa. I just had a practice question that stated, "Phenelzine, also known as Nardil, are MAOI Inhibitors that are not safe for patients with Parkinson’s Disease to take and may precipitate a hypertensive crisis. A hypertensive crisis is a sudden increase in blood pressure, which may be life-threatening" Can both of these be true and we should look out for this HTN crisis?

Mike, I am wondering how could I ask a patient about any alcohol abuse history before administering succynilcoline when that patient is about to be intubated; I mean, they usually have a really low Glasgow score and can't even say a word 🤔 Thanks for the video, I really like your content!
