Vulnerability w/ tome of water doesn't fail the salamander task either. 15% defence reduction > faster shield phase imo, it reduces the chance of failing the kill at the very end. Although you could spellbook swap for both if you really wanted to.

As of right now the Versatile drainer is bugged. It can be done, but not with bolts, corruption and smite. You can do it with ancient mace, corruption and bolts. Landing the mace spec is not easy, but once you do, you get it. Gl.

If I have max ranged with tbow/zcb/masori etc but my mage setup is ancestral+sang, do you think it's even worth bringing mage switch if going for 1:30? Or better off just hoping for good tbow rng for the one melee phase on the tbow method you describe?

Did they update the step back method? I still get hit when the boss is moving while hitting with melee. And I have pray melee on

It still works. It's just nuanced. Recommend looking up a step back guide that goes through the conditions that fails step back.

Hey thanks for the info :) Been getting slower 3:30-5:xx kills with my rcb and trident on im. Do you know if the Mark of Darkness works on Phantom Muspah, for the purposes of increasing corruption and taking down the Prayer Shield faster?

how would you do smite skip as an iron without staff or tbow or sythe?

I'll be making a extra tips video on the smite skip soon, but basically you'd rely more on special attack weapons. So ideally just double void waker spec with a special timing on the 2nd hit (which will be in the new video when I make it). Otherwise could do claws into AGS (or any godsword special) if you don't have void waker, can't do double claws cause the multi hit ruins the skip, and don't forget to resummon the thrall to stop it from attacking. once again gotta time the 2nd hit when doing these special strats, I basically click to do the 2nd hit (assuming it's a melee attack) around when the floor special reaches the edge of the room, but you can also just see the timing when I void waker spec the boss in the guide.

@@Molgoatkirby oh I thought double hits were good even after watching 3 of your videos on this. What about venging the potential 80 from special beforehand?

I think they updated the phase skip, I voidwaker and it doesn’t skip anymore

If he is standing still when he starts the attack even if he moves to you to attack you get hit
