WHAT?!?! $99/$109. Wow. Once I built a system in the P500A, I was like "Oh Phanteks is cool". A few systems later, I looked for another case and decided just to go into the G500A and I became Phanteks fanboi. This case may just make Phanteks crazy. They do sooooo much right.

I went for a bit of a different direction. I used some of the beats from the album I'm working on at the moment. Some are throwaway beats that would suit our videos.

This will likely be my new case! I liked the o11 mini but it's a little wide for my setup. I considered the Antec P120 but this limited my gpu length. I thought about going with the longer version of my current case, the Meshify C, but I also want a change of scenery. The NV5 is only 1" wider. Which is fine with me. And at $109, I mean cmon! That's a steal!!! Great review as always guys 🤙

If i could just....nit-pick....The front panel connectors need to be hidden by a shroud or something but man, this is a SOLID case! I appreciate the white cables as well! If i didnt already have the NV7, Id have the NV5!

wow i've been so set on the critically acclaimed lian li o11 for an all white build, but it looks like i'm gonna be building in the nv5 as well. i'm going the aero route as well, but using lian li infinity fans. stoked for my build, great video, subbing now 🖤🖤

Thx for the hard work! Your review on this case is one of the earliest among other youtubers! I just bought this case today after seeing your video (ready for a new PC build but havent got all the components yet) and I am wondering if i can still install a CPU air cooler such as the PA 120 if i vertically mount the GPU (will be a 4070) with the phanteks vertical GPU mouting kit. Could you try to show us in your next video when you do another build with your custom made cables?

The case adds to the interesting beef Lian Li is having at the moment with Phanteks over the fan connector. My eyes opened even wider when realising Lian Li makes the RGB PSU extensions you used for this build. Hopefully both companies can resolve the whole thing amicably, because they both make stunning products.

Remember that Phanteks sells FANs. Most people getting this case will fill it with Phanteks fans. And you can get an RGB lightstrip add-on for another 70 bucks.

They marketed this as a smaller NV7, but I was very disappointed to see that it had very little in common. No external cable management, only one bottom fan slot (that is literally useless), no motherboard cable hiding panels, no ability to change bottom fan angles, only one rear exhaust (two can be done in a case this size as my previous case did it). etc. The NV5 just seems like a normal case with one or two nice features. It’s a nice looking case, but not really like its bigger brother at all. Ended up going with the NV7.

Love this case wow 😍😍 Hopefully I can find it for $100 USD on Amazon USA.

I want to Build in the Same case and with exactly the Same Fans how easy was it to Connect them all which cables and Adapters did you use? Also which Software because Phantoms doesnt have a own Software. Love your Video keep up the work

It is truly a nice case. My only gripe would be the dust filter sliding out from the rear of the case. This means I have to move the case just to pull out the dust filter.

@@motivational7531 went with a white NV5 and so far no regrets at all. Looks beautiful and was super easy to build in. It was my first time doing a build by myself with no help and it was a breeze in this case. Y40 is still a dope case tho!

Can the glass panel fit with the 12pin sticking out like that? I noticed that you never had the front panel on at all this entire video😅

Do you need an external fan hub controller to control all the fans or it's enough what you find in the case?

Now the one thing I don't see is dust filter on the side.. This may sound stupid to some but even with a positive airinput this thing with suck up all the dust.

wow, that removable cover to access the PSU is genius. I hope we see more of this.

Not at all. Like I said in the video title. They thought of everything. The bracket only sits on the edges for support

Did the lian li cables automatically match the phanteks fan rgb or you had to make it similar?

Absolutely awesome case for the price but I’m going to take a stab at one critique and that is…where is the inverted case support?

One thing I miss in this case, is the option to put 3 intakes immediately underneath the gpu to cool it down, making the gpu fans to run more silently. The nv7 has this and works great.

@@motivational7531 we're talking just a few cm or inches, the NV7 is way more complete and a breeze to build in. The NV9 would perhaps be excessively large for me, that one is mostly for fancy water cooling designs. I got the NV7 after having the corsair QL 5000 and I'm amazed

I wait for GN review so I can compare thermals to their other case review. Hopefully it will be the next case for my new PC I am going to build in 2024. My current PC uses Enthoo Pro from Phanteks and it serves me well, very good case for money to work with it, but it is obsolete and I botched minijack on front I/O.

99 is insane, just wanna go with FD then see this. Hard to decide which to go...
