Took me nearly 6 years to be luigis mansion dark moon ;-;

Wow. So ok, speedrunning this is a thing... One of the first JRPG's I ever played, destroyed in half an hour, using glitches I never imagined existed.

Having just beaten this game again for the umpteenth time, I decided to check out a speedrun of it. I got to about the 25 minute mark and then was laughing so hard I was crying. Even if I were a speedrunner I would never be able to any% this game. I'd be laughing too hard to see what I was doing.

I love this game and I've played it a LOT. This is truly bananas to watch and I'm here for it!

This was like the pulp fiction of speed runs, for me.

This run was glitch-tastic! Yes, I'm aware of how cheesy that was.....

I've beat this game many times. My favorite rpg. I've never done any glitches. Not even the shadowblade glitch. This friggin blew my mind.

Amazing job! I have a whole lot to read about.

Nem md fala mano. Terminou mt rapido e terminou com a Alys viva e nao lutou contra o Dark Force. Mais de 8 mil de glitch

You defeated Profound Darkness... but at what cost?

I have one problem with this run even if its glitched, how come he does not get "Cannot escape..." when trying to retreat not once?..

How are you able to run at such a low level? I've been playing this game wrong my whole life. Ha.

How does that glitch that changes the menu work?

Basically ingame collision and trigger box detection is disabled for optimization reasons while menu is visible - it would slow down everything if it would be enabled at the same time as the costly menu is rendered. A glitchy menu is still a menu as far as the game is concerned, so it allows unrestricted movement. And the menu itself is glitched once several frame-perfect inputs of "Select" / "Go Back" are performed.

I'm guessing it's some sort of memory glitch. He seems to be able to manipulate the macro screen until it corresponds to a value, then saving and loading the game makes him be there.

Take that Final Fantasy 7.😂

i think it might be but if you have a computer you might as well just find another way to emulate it since it’s fairly old at this point, it’s a great game I can’t recommend it enough
