PH's Gwen Fourniol's SHOCKING unplacement, Czech Republic wins the 71st Miss World!
In the 71st Miss World Coronation Night held in India on March 9, Gwendolyn Fourniol, the representative of the Philippines, unfortunately did not secure a spot in the Top 40, marking the first cut of the competition.
Despite being considered a frontrunner, Gwen faced disappointment as her journey in the competition ended early. Her elimination shocked and saddened her Filipino fanbase, who had high hopes for her due to her exceptional beauty, intelligence, and charisma.
However, it is important to acknowledge the effort and dedication Gwen put into representing her country. While her Miss World journey may have ended, we believe that this setback is just a stepping stone to greater things in her future.

Gwen is very beautiful and she represented her country pretty well. But we cannot deny the fact that she isn't deserving to go as far as Top 12 leave winning. The competition was intense this year. Comparing her with India, Indonesia, Lebanon and Turkey we know where she stands in Asia Region. But yeah i do think she should have at least placed in top 40. We should still be proud of her work and dedication!

Siguro po ung isasali sa MW gaya din ng MU nakikita kasi ng mga Judge ang pagka tao ng isang kandidata kung maamo ba mukha mo supladita mukha mo mukhang mabait like PW, CG lalu na si chelsea merong amo ang mga mukha nila at ung adbokasiya nila at da way ng pananalita ng isang kandidata nakikita at nararamdaman din ng mga judges yan kaya dilang need ang beauty kailangan nasa puso din ang isasagot kaya sa mga beauty pageant na sasalihan kailangan prepared ka tlga beauty and brain tlga

We dont expect anything from Miss World. Most Filipino pageant fans no longer interested on this pageant anymore. We just support our Philippines rep but we dont really watch this pageant anymore we just wait for result.

Dapat ngiti at happy lang sa rampa. 2 years pa naan yang preparation dapat Hindi lang Q&A, advocacy at Rampa lang, study the past winners and how they perform.

Sa Miss World nga ligwak si Catriona... Basta hindi tipo ni Madam Julia, hindi talaga mananalo...
She's the best, so beautiful ❤️ ❤️ ❤️. She'll remain a magical Miss World Philippines. The fact is, choosing the winner in Miss World International is just kind of random, extemporaneously done. Not even judging how good or how intelligent a candidate is. Just pick one and crown her, that's it! 😊

If you're not favorable to win, you definitely lose. Puerto Rico 2016, Poland 2022, they didn't win in any fast track challenges. However, they won the crown. Miss World is classically bias. A bias with a class.

Candidates should compete with each other and not with delegates from their region.. That is why it's called Miss World...my thoughts.

Masyado kc hype lage sa ph rep, kaya madami umaasa.. every year naman dami countries nag le level up na mga candidates, kaya kelangan makipagsabayan din ang Pinas😊
Her beauty is too sharp, not for MW, she's more suited for Miss Universe. MW looks for that expression of kindness, down to earth and amiable beauty. She doesn't have those. She looks so classy, respectable, expensive senorita

It didnt shock me at all. Her win in the national pageant was even more shocking. She may be beautiful for some but she lacks queenly aura. She has met Julia a few times and I think she really didnt make an impact at all that's why she didnt place. She's one of the weakest PH candidates sent to MW.

You guys placed in top 12 consecutively in 2019 and 2021. This year went unplaced so what? You won't place evey year.
