Im observing Philippine Football since 2012. Watched many games in Panaad Stadium, Bacolod City. To play the games in a central Stadium somewhere in or around Metro Manila is far from being the right way to promote Football thruout the Philippines. This is a sport that lives with and from local patriotism. It needs the local fans of a club. This are the places where the real hardcore fans of a club live. I was lucky to experience this in Bacolod. The crowd there are real football enthusiast and great supporters of their club and players. What a pity that there wont be any game this season in Panaad Stadium. I understand that its because of the covid-19 pandemic. But please, dont make it a regular way. The identification with philippine Football is also in danger if clubs are getting sold to "investors" as it happened to Ceres Negros FC. The new name United City FC makes me as a fan afraid that the club owners are sooner or later looking for another home than Negros. The fans of Kaya FC, Makati and Global FC, Cebu already experienced that their club was taken away from them and transfered to another city. Well, if this goes on and on....it will be just like philippine Basketball league. Everything is owned by "big money" with no real local base. I observed that in many years. My two boys in Bacolod play basketball every day on the subdivisions basketball court, but I never ever saw them watching a game of Meralco, San Miguel, etc etc etc. regards, stay safe

by the way...Ive often experienced crowds of 6 to 8000 people in Panaad, Bacolod. We were making a lot of noise, pushing our boys to glorious victories. Its been always a phantastic athmosphere, quite comparable to what I experienced in Germany.

In my opinion is the pfl a great football league. But it is very sad that there are no fans in the stadiums. How comes it?

Because Filipinos like this sport called "basketball".....It really make me sad that they would pay attention to "basketball" than football....

What about Panaad Stadium mate! the stadium have fans there! that's why you don't play manila play in Visayas and Mindanao has more fans than in manila!!

I hope Philippines will build a stadium for pfl

this game needs to be in PANAAD or iloloSC ... they dont deserve that artificial pitch with flies and insects around, I remember the last time they played in iloilo and they were like 400 to 500 people watching (a pretty decent number for a league like PFL) it was loud and rowdy, and it was a fantastic atmosphere
