Ahmed Sultan showcased his “Nazrana-e-Ishq" collection at PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week. The collection draws its inspiration from the pure feeling of falling in love. The color palette is based in bright and bold colours with shades of red and gold. Set in rich luxurious materials such as chiffons, nets, organza, kimkhab, kundun zair, silks and jamawars the collection aims to reinvent classic silhouettes with a modern twist by making use of traditional embroideries with modern 3D work. The showcase also featured menswear pieces.
TV actress Aiman Khan participated in the designer’s showcase as a celebrity showstopper.
“On my voyage in the fashion world, my experience at PFDC L'Oréal Paris Bridal Week left me addicted to the immense world of aesthetic experience its opened for me. Being a part of it this year, sends a wave of electric enthusiasm to my creative passion for inhaling the sophisticated aesthetic, quality and excellence to be exuded at the platform as established by PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week.” said Ahmad Sultan
Sehyr Saigol, Chairperson of the PFDC, has said: “With each fashion week, we strive to create highly anticipated trends, concepts and talent in the industry all the while maintaining our authenticity and driving the credibility of fashion in Pakistan forward. I am particularly happy to reveal the exciting line-up of this year which promotes an eclectic mix of designers. In the spirit of nurturing emerging talent, the PFDC is also delighted to be a patron of the work of promising young designer Hira Ali, sponsoring her show this year. As with every PLBW, we are delighted to build on our partnership with the world’s most important force in beauty, L’Oréal Paris. With our Beauty Meets Fashion platform, we aim to collaboratively establish the regions’ fashion and beauty looks for 2018-2019.”
