PFA Conversations: Cesc Fabregas

Спорт

On a chilly Sunday afternoon, at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia overlooking Lake Como, we were in the company of one of the most successful midfielders of his generation. He's now 35, and with the help of The PFA (@PFA), preparing for what follows after an extraordinary playing career: management. This conversation provides a cunning insight into his football mind. Markus Fjørtoft (@MarkusFjortoft) sat down with Cesc to discuss what constitutes a win, players' lack of freedom in the modern game and if we will ever see a new Fabregas, managers' different impacts, how we would have benefited having someone like Wenger later on in his career, and what next for Cesc Fàbregas.
Cesc Fàbregas (@cesc4official) has taken his coaching badges through The PFA. He is currently undertaking the UEFA A licence with the help of Jim Hicks, Head of Coaching, and David Bridges (@DBProTraining), Coach Educator.

Have been following him since he was 16.. biggest inspiration for the generation.. slightly underrated. Love the way he has the correct understanding of the game and generally his approach to playing the right way. He is right in saying everything these days is getting robotic and rehearsed.. probably will never see another Cesc Fabregas again, someone who played for the moment and individual talent.. guy was ahead of his time.

What he says in the creativity section is absolute bang on and it’s something that I’ve been thinking about but did not have the ability to phrase it correctly EDIT: would love for him to become a coach at Chelsea
