Loved watching my Huskers best a great QB to win the Natty. In the years following I have come to greatly respect Payton as a player and a human being.
i am an NU fan, i watched that game, was glad NU won hands down, BUT i did feel for Peyton and did and still do KNOW he was the best footballer that year, HANDS DOWN
The game wasn't even close.
Michigan barely beat number 8 Washington State, and Nebraska crushed number 3 Tennesse.
