Peugeot Partner Van 2019 - Is it a Partner you can trust?

The MK3 model Peugeot Partner is a compact van with high aspirations.
Peugeot's Partner van has much to offer in this much improved third generation form, with efficiency, technology and practicality to rival class leaders in the compact van segment. It's now smarter looking than before and gets some extra hi-tech, plus it's more spacious and there's the brand's clever 'i-Cockpit' interior design too. On paper at least then, the prospects are promising.
Background
Peugeot knows a thing or two about vans, the brand having built around 2 million LCVs since 1950. This Partner model is the company's biggest seller and it's been revitalised in this third generation guise. The Partner is the kind of model you choose if your business needs a compact LCV that isn't quite as small as a modern cityvan-sector model would be - something like Peugeot's own Bipper. Vehicles like that are based on superminis: Partner-type models, in contrast, sit upon the more spacious platforms originally developed for family hatchbacks or small MPVs.
There are certainly plenty of vans of that type - most notably perhaps, this Peugeot's near-identical design stablemates, Citroen's Berlingo and Vauxhall's Combo. Beyond the PSA Group, this Partner must directly take on strong-selling contenders like Ford's Transit Connect, Fiat's Doblo Cargo and Volkswagen's Caddy, along with two further brand-shared designs, the one we know as either the Renault Kangoo or the Mercedes Citan.
Driving Experience
The Euro6 engine range is made up of Peugeot's latest generation BlueHDi diesel units, plus the PSA conglomerate's usual Puretech 1.2-litre three cylinder powerplant in 110 or 130hp forms for those that want it. The 1.6-litre diesels will be the big sellers with their 75 and 100hp and 120bhp outputs. More modern though, is the 1.5-litre BlueHDi powerplant, which comes if you're able to stretch up to a 130hp output. The top 130hp engines are offered with the option of EAT8 auto transmission.
This MK3 model Partner's new EMP2 platform enables shorter overhangs and a small turning circle for easy manoeuvring: the kerb to kerb turning radius is only 10.82m for the Standard version and 11.43m for the Long version. The neat 'i-Cockpit' dashboard design makes this Peugeot feel quite fun to drive too, with its grippy little wheel allowing for wrist-flick turns. We also like the 'Surround Rear Vision' system that gives drivers optimum exterior visibility from inside the vehicle, with a view of the areas around the van courtesy of a couple of cameras, one located at the base of the passenger side mirror and the other at the top of the rear doors. The images are displayed on a 5-inch screen located where the interior rear mirror normally sits and together provide a closer view of the immediate environment.

All 3 are very reliable partners on the road, that's what matters.
Excellent presentation and appraisal. Well up to the usual OSV standard and no, I'm not an employee. I would use the Long version to transport my custom motorcycle around the show's and kip-down in the back for two nights. Could just about wing that l reckon.

Why can’t they put reversing cameras as standard on all vans, they cost very little.

The van is big
Guys as a North Mexican i'm very used to pick ups just like our texans neighboors, but i think a van is a better rational choice for my comercial business and i'm very looking into the partner or an expert is peugeot a reliable van i can trust for years to come ?
Which trim was tested? Standard or long?
I got one of these the asphalt type brilliant compared to mark 2 partner aand that was a great van. This model is a lot bigger but looks the same size as the mark 2. Inside the cab and the back are wider and longer its like a taradis. Camara system is good but should incorporate dash cam. You can show videos movies and youtube on the screen if you jail break your phone. You can speak to the screen and It will phone and send and read texts for you but sometimes gets it wrong.

Hello - you mention Partner van is available in auto petrol gearbox (08:25). I haven't seen options available for this engine type on Peugeot's official UK website. Is this variant available in the UK?

Just got this
PSA needs to offer this as an EV; there seems to be enough space under the floor for a battery pack. Perhaps they could use a similar motor and battery pack as in the eCorsa (100 kW, 50kWh, 205 mile range).
Peugeot tell me they don’t have any plans for a petrol as yet in this van??

Is it me or is this van very large 15.49
No! Have 2019 Partner. Has a terrible AdBlue system - don't bother. Adblue fault ruined a road-trip holiday & we lost our money. A new AdBlue fault (one month later) is about to cost £800-£1500 and there might be another fault yet. And who knows what could happen next? The tank? Another NOX sensor? Another injector? Software?......Save your money.

As he said a couple of times, the van he has is the S spec, which is 30mm higher than standard........but yeah, I think he is very short too lol
Is this presenter very short?
All the reviews on this van always say good things about them but I drive 1 of 3 vans we have at work and all 3 of them have had adblue problems, horn stops working, tyre pressure warning light is always on and will come back on after you reset it and so many other little problems.... All 3 of the vans have spend 99% of the time back at peugeot getting fixed... The company I work for have had the vans since 2019 but most of the time they have been in peugeot... avoid them at all costs
As always not enough space for driver and you becoming tired of driving even after 100 miles. Citroen much more comfortable than Peugeot!

I will never buy more peugeot and citroen cars, automatic gearbox is really bad shifting gears and is really bad quality build car. Best choice is caddy or transit proper think before you buy this car.
