I drive the 208 hdi 75 everyday for my job. It's pretty slow but this one is a joke! 82 ps? Lol more like 60. I had a 205 1.1 gr with 55 ps and it was faster. So sorry for 82 ps it's juste horrible.

@@florianhenry6698 a 208 hdi is much lighter than this 2008, that's the reason why you are faster with less power.. Not even mentioning the height of the 2008 which does not help to make speed

My firsta 1.25 with 75hp have better top end acceleration than this Hell, this car performance in the top end is even worse can my 1987 car with a carburetted 1.4 75hp engine

It was the same with mine, but later I did drive it more often on highway and now I can reach 175 km/h :) The engine is lazy at the beginning or if you drive it on low revs ;)

hmm ... strange, my 2017 208 1.2 PureTech with 82hp & Turbo reached 194km/h. (Bergab und im Windschatten eines anderen Fahrzeugs xD), und wenn ich net hätte bremsen müssen, hätt ma die 200 km/h bestimmt erreicht. Der spaß hat ne ganze Tankfüllung auf einer Strecke von nichteinmal 200km gekostet ;)

Ah ah ah, la 82cv n'a pas de turbo! Il faut monter à la 110cv pour avoir le turbo. Et 170km/h compteur est une belle vitesse pour une 82cv...Il faut beaucoup de vent dans le dos...mpdr

PureTech (Turbo) 1.2 model is around 110hp or 130hp, 82hp is naturally aspirated VTi.

I let mine running until 6500 and when the 4th gear is inside i let it run to 5300 and then i go in the 5th because then he can reach easy 185 to 195 I reached with mine 189kmh.

How is that possible?? My 1.6 75hp diesel goes and accelerates much quicker than this, i mean a lot quicker. Are you sure your engine is healthy?? It can’t be so slow for 82hp with turbo

Top Speed yes but still a petrol engine should have at least a higher top speed considering the more hps it has. Maybe this one is just an engine built for efficiency rather than performance
