Peugeot 106 1.0 Acceleration 0-100 & Top Speed Test
Peugeot 106 S1 first generation - We test the elderly Peugeot 106. With its small 1.0l 45 hp engine, we experience the cold start sound, acceleration of 0-100 and the top speed in this mini car. The Peugeot 106 was produced in two series. During the first (S1) from September 1991 to April 1996 and the second (S2) from May 1996 to July 2003 Here, the 106 S1 based on the Citroën AX introduced a few years earlier, during the 106 S2 is technically almost identical to the Citroën Saxo. Specifically, the vehicles of the first series were relatively easy, so that even comparatively good performance could be achieved with the smaller engines. Especially the XSi model with the 1.4-liter engine (94 hp) was at a maximum speed of 200 km / h and acceleration from 0-100 km / h in under ten seconds for a small car very quickly. Especially the Peugeot 106 GTI S16 with the 1.6 liter engine was very fast. Therefore, they were very popular in rally racing use.

be lucky to have one. My CInquecento doesn't even has the Quartz clock. Fuel and speed. That's what you get!

Still would recommend the 1.1 with 60 hp, it's much quicker with about the same fuel consumption

Yes and seems faster than the 106 1.0 phase 2 which had 50 hp

@@spindedark Yes, the 1.1 is much quicker indeed.
You can thank the 5 speed gearbox! With 4, the top speed was indeed officially limited to 145, what you can guess here with the rev limiter ;)

jajaja Yo tengo uno y es gracioso porque si le metes un aceleron fuerte la gasofa sube y pasa lo contrario cuando frenas. también baja la aguja si estas en una pendiente empinada cuesta abajo.
Seems faster than the 106 phase 2 with 50 hp.

sure this is not 1.0. If I did 80 km/h in 2nd gear, my engine would blow up. The sound of the engine is more like 1.6 GTI then 1.0. Bulls..

Peter Molnar 2 napja vettem meg az 1.0 as 2000 ezres evjaratu peugeot 106 omat es ezt a videot latva kiprobaltam nekem 85 öt ment kettesben. en se hittem el de beszaras kis gep emellet alig eszik 5 litert

Enyém 1997-es, már van benne 300.000 km. Én nem erőltettem még szegénykét hogy mit bír, de 50-60ig az enyém is okés lenne, de nem kínzom.

20. ker. :-). Ha majd megint megbízhatóan meg a kicsikocsi, összefuthatunk akár. Most olyat csinál, hogy melegen nem indítható újra, csak órákkal később, sőt mostanában már sajna azt is teszi, hogy egyszerűen leáll a motor menet közben, kb akárhol. Ha hozájutok, megtisztogatom a holtponti jeladó szenzort, mert sokan arra gyanakszanak. Hibakódban még nem jelenik meg, de tipikus hibajelenség együttest produkál. Ja és ma kaptam egy Haynes szerelési útmutatót (angol) amit már olvasgatok is. :-)

Acelerando tenho um igual Peugeot 106 1.0 e dá 180km mesmo no maximo e sim de origem mas todo em excelentes condições todas as peças estão quase novas mas de origem e quase bate 200km (180km) Abraço , deviam comprar um mas cuidado com o scam rápido o carro esta todo velho e cansado e nem 100km dá ahhaha

@@rip_tugaYtb 180 (de ponteiro) deve ser complicado, só mesmo descendo muito (bem na vertical), com o vento a favor e com muita paciência e mesmo assim deve ser complicado... Quanto ao quase bater 200 km de ponteiro, nem vou comentar. Duvido muito mesmo.
