Animal researchers have been studying and fighting over whether animals can recognize themselves in mirrors for a very long time, debating if it correlates to sentience, and what that could mean. Cat filter proves animals can recognize themselves in mirrors when they're exposed to mirrors long enough to understand them, and will use reflections when it's somehow beneficial to them, otherwise ignoring it as useless information. This video is a proof that animal actualy knows the difference between another one and a reflection, or at least most of them. Many scientists tought that most animals could not know this difference, except for monkeys, or dolphins for example. If they really tought that this app was real, they would attack their phones, but they look first to their partners, so they know somehow that this is a reflection. This is funny and really interesting if you think about this

@@cicik57 I agree with you. Neither every cat nor no cat. And science should be skeptic and observe more before making these kind of statements. When a scientist make a wrong statement, for us in scientific community is no big deal, but for major population make them distrust us. So I would be more careful with that.
