There are no Malays, Chinese and Indians, there are only Malaysians. After studying oversea for 3 years, I really appreciate the sense of being a Malaysian. I never recognise myself as I Chinese, because I was not raised in China, and I am so so different from them, from the way I speak to the way I dress and to my opinions about things. I get really annoyed when people ask me, "So, where are you actually from?'" I'm from Malaysia and I'm a Malaysian from body to soul. My family have been here from the start when Malaysia was united together to form a country. And no matter how bad our politics are, I am proud of being a Malaysian. Many of my friends who studies locally could not comprehend my thinking, but once you've been away from home for so long, you'll definitely see things differently. The grass is not always greener on the other side.

You are right my fellow Malaysian. My mother was born in 1935 and she had even said that before Merdeka we were so united, encouraging, helping , loving and fighting for Malaysia. Selepas DUMNO ditubuhkan...semuanya hancur berkecai. Tunku's Wishes is always to keep us united and strong. But nevertheless I do agree with you that even me I am cautiously confident that Malaysia do still have hope. I will NEVER surrender my citizenship but I will fight for this country by doing my job as a voter. If God can turn back time for us, I hope Him to even grant us to be back before Merdeka.

Kesepaduan adalah amat penting di dalam negara untuk mengekalkan keharmonian dan kesejahteraan. Sifat saling membantu tidak mengira kaum sama ada melayu, cina, india dan lain lain adalah amalan yang perlu ada pada setiap kaum yang duduk di Malaysia. membantu tanpa mengira warna kulit dari apa segi aspek seperti ekonomi, sosial, politik dan agama. Made me cry, as usual. Petronas never fails to make their ads so beautiful. Even though there can be problems in this country, I still love it. It's a beautiful place with beautiful people, and it is my home that I share with many others. :')

+Nurkhaliesyah Ainaa My best buddy is a Malay. We hang out together and he even joined me to Chinese temple. I can't go in to Mosque but I would love to. When we travel together, he will do his prayer and I give him space. But there are some extremist Malay guy in this forum and Malaysia that do not get the idea of togetherness....always think this land owned by them. I feel sad for them carrying such hatred inside them everyday. I hope one day during their prayer, Islam can wash away their hatred.
